I rode a 1964 650cc Bonneville in the late 1960s. Still love it. Fond fond memories. I used to take my then girlfriend out on it. We are still married. I feel a lump in my throat when I see and hear the new ones. That doesn't happen much at my age. I am trying to think of how I could justify the expense. My wife said she wouldn't mind if I did get one. It admits she has fond memories as well, of seeing me burbling up to meet her on it. She is still up for a pillion ride and leave her wheelie walker at home. You are so privileged to be riding the new one. Mine was gloss black and chrome as well. Authentic. I wish you many miles of safe and happy riding.
I had one in high school a 650 looked just like it that’s why I had to have it fond memories it’s a great bike get one you won’t regret it nor will your wife safe riding my friend
What a lovely bike, Sir. I’m on my 2nd T120 now. Mine’s Matt Black. I’m 66 now and I’m hoping I can handle the weight for the next few years and yonder than that. And what a huge difference the old 650 is compared to the bike you have now. Cheers.
