The low beam and high beam still function the same as your stock lamp and you could wire the parking light in if needed but that is typically not needed or necessary. See 3:08

Using a very small screw driver can help to release the locking tab on the connector. It does unplug with a little effort sometimes.

We use a PAR56 standard 7-inch light with our machined adapter ring to fit the factory headlight rim.

This will work on the Speed Twin. You can order the one listed for the Thruxton 1200/R here - bit.ly/mdTmc2

H4 to H4 but mounting the light may be a little more complicated. Please contact us for further help.

All we can provide is that it adapts from our lamps to the factory retaining ring.

Srbog1 not DOT/ECE legal and wouldn't be very effective next to the bright headlight. Have you seen the m-Blaze Pins we offer? Very bright and barely noticeable.

Simon Tkaczyk you have to convert to a 7 inch light, the previous gen Scrambler has a 5 3/4 inch light that can't be easily swapped. We've help MANY customers do this with an OEM Bonneville bucket and the LED Upgrade for that generation.

The air-cooled Scramblers use a non-standard size headlight unit so we do not have a direct drop-in for that model's housing. We typically recommend switching up to the Bonneville/Thruxton spec 7-inch housing and installing that in your stock ears or aftermarket headlight brackets. Both are available on our site 👍

guessguy209 the smaller connection is left unconnected. The light is a 7” with an adapter to fit your non-standard stock ring and bucket.

I couldn't get the smaller connection disconnected from the old headlight. Is there a trick to it. I tried to follow the instructions but got stuck trying to remove the second wire. The big one just came right off. Can you help me understand how to get the smaller one disconnected?

Matt Clements I actually have a bonneville with a different light. But it did also have 2 wires(one big that came off easy and a smaller one that I had trouble getting off). There was a little clip holding it in that was a little hard to see/notice. But also, it was slightly stuck together as well. After I got it off it snapped back together and back off much easier the next few times I disconnected it. Try and get a light in there and look for a small clip/button that's holding it together

The smaller wire is for the DRL on this particular Thruxton. It is not re-used in this install so it just gets tucked in with the other wiring.

Does this mean, the headlight runs daytime running automatically without the use of the wire? Canada here so need DRL... also mine is 2022 Thruxton RS - is this still as simple as you made it look? @@motodemic

Okay...found my own aswers from just heading over to your website - you guys are soinnovative and simplistic... its amazing just how dumb everyone gets when understanding this type of upgrade... Duh! unplug the wire then plug in the new wire lolololol...500 questions later...oh, so we just do what you showed in the video.... oooh I see.... lollol

@@NEW.EMPIRE.NETWORK If you have a DRL/Low Beam switch on your left hand control, you would leave that in the low beam position. North American bikes do not have DRL, they run the headlight low beam as this function. Rest of world models have the DRL functionality with full brightness, where we get a dimmed version.

Dave Harriman thanks! This Thruxton had a DRL as well. We just leave that connection disconnected. These are perfectly legal in the UK 👍

The Aluminum ring on the headlight itself is our adapter. The outer ring that we remove the stock light from is the one that comes on the Thruxton 1200 from the factory. We just brushed it ourselves to match the bike better. You can use the ring from any current water-cooled modern classics or refinish yours.

Matt Clements, there is a small pin on the connector that releases the two halves. You may need to apply pressure to it with a small screwdriver.

A pin? I don't see a pin anywhere anywhere. Your video just shows you pulling it out. I'm not clear on how you did that or what you mean by a pin.

Matt Clements a very small latch that when pressed the connector comes out. It was very easy on our Thruxton.

I got it installed... Thanks. I just needed an extra hand from someone to hold the light while I used two hands to disconnect! New headlight looks great!

MOTODEMIC Awesome! I checked the form, there's no option for the black bezel lamps, are those avail or only the chrome bezel ones? I'm on a 2014 Storm, so trying to keep the blacked out motif.

Vik Mediratta we don’t have any direct experience with the fairing but this is no different than changing the headlight bulb. Even if it does need to be removed its most likely only a few bolts.

While not really necessary due to the poly carbonate lens, the factory one seems to work well.

Hello, the smaller connection is for the Front Position/DRL light found in the Bonneville T120 and Thruxton. This connection is not reused and can be simply tucked in with the other wiring in the housing. The headlight connection shouldn't take any extra force, maybe double check that the terminals are aligning properly. Turn signal installation is easy and straightforward once you take it apart. The stock signal locations are reused and they are completely plug-and-play with the turn signal adapters.

Only if it's a water-cooled Street Scrambler. This will not work on an air-cooled Scrambler 900 with a 5 3/4-inch headlight.
