Nothing to do with the bike, but I just love your accent. Can't wait to visit Scotland again. 🤩 Great review btw and good to know about the rear brake recall. 👍
It good to hear a fellow Rocket owner's opinion, I wasn't aware of the rear brake cylinder recall. Like you I bought my 2021 Rocket 3 GT Triple Black second hand with similar milage. It's an awesome bike for sure but like you say the rear brake is poor. I fitted the quick shifter on its last service and find it pretty smooth up and down, I think it depends how you use the throttle in conjunction with it. It differs slightly from the QS on my KTM 890 Adventure R which can be jerky if not throttled up for up and down for down. Videos of my bike are on my other channel @greywolf9292 along with my other bikes, ZZR 1400 Performance Sport, the KTM and a Triumph 900 Thunderbird Sport. I'll sub you from that channel 👍
Good to see another Scottish rocket owner. I would say if you are getting the bike in for the brake. Also try to get the crack on the lower dashboard screen under warranty. Seems a few people have had them done under warranty (even it was out of warranty)
I find the quick shifter flawless shifting up or down. And I have had no problem with the rear brakes although I do use the front brakes more. Just my opinion with tons of miles on my 2020 GT.
@@jimanders9971 All I can say is that my rear brakes are dangerous and it's booked in to be replaced, also my instrument gauge is getting replaced under warranty.
@saltire546 there's plenty of MOT issues. Type Approval requires the rear tyre to not be the rearmost exposed part. Look even at any sports bike, non are supplied with the rear tyre not covered by the number plate assembly. Hurt someone in an accident, and a world of trouble appears with insurance.
