Triumph Stag - Top strut mount 

I'm trying to trace a knocking sound from the left side of the car. I checked the lower ball joint and that looked OK. I noticed some play in the top mount and decided to create a video. New top mounts are quite poorly made so be aware.
In one case, the shock was bouncing in the tube. This shock was solid.
I put the car back together and I still have a knocking sound. The wheel bearing is OK, Even though I inspected the ball joint I'm going to replace it. It can't be anything else.
