I agree, driving with the top down anytime, day or night, is an experience, one that I love! I have ridden in a convertible in the winter with the top down, just as much fun as in the summer; bundled up, gloves, maybe a hat, heat blasting, great fun! As for a Model 3 Tesla, that is another experience unparalleled; instantaneous acceleration, superb sound system. Autopilot with hands-off driving was another experience, although not recommended. Build quality is not good considering how much one costs. I appreciate rare vehicles like your Stag, and the P6 Rover, Incomparable Classics! And Manchester is a lovely city!
Thanks for commenting, really appreciated. I think that maybe I should experience a Tesla myself before trying to say informed comments on you tube videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The level 4 autodrive looks like a really futuristic out of this world leap forward. Really would like a go of one! Some of the tech seems fascinating and hoping are not gimmicks.
Hope this help's! Watching your video on your reverse light problem. It could be the gearbox BW35 inhibitor switch....If you roll back the carpet on the passenger side of the gearbox tunnel, below the console, you will see a square plate with 4 screws. Remove the plate and the inhibitor switch is there [4 terminals and 4 wires] and this is linked up to the reverse lights when Reverse is selected, this switch also causes starting problems when starting in PARK. Maybe check the connection but be gentle as they are brittle terminals. Worth a try.
My all systems go quadrant was the same… There is a supplier that does an LED conversion kit. It is well worth pulling apart the Quadrant and cleaning the inevitable heat damage of the old original bulbs which can be consigned to history… I now have nice bright lumination. The rheostat is just now a curiosity
