I know nothing about bikes or what's better but that bike is fucking beautiful the colour just goes so perfectly with the seat and just the general look of the bike I think I'm in love
Like the sound, like the obvious feel they went for on it, and I'm surprised by the pull it has for what it is exactly! Easiest bike video I've seen where I can tell what a bike is riding like when compared to my past bikes. Great photos and I thought that's why they put this little peg saves there... to give you that instant satisfaction and sense of accomplishment when grinding down a new peg!
Wow man I got my scrambler like a week ago and thought I gave it a bit of a thrashing at the weekend, nope. Not compared to you guys here, Jesus you was leathering them bikes. Cant wait to see the next part, I tried some off road yesterday but I was being abit of a puss :P So looking forward to see what youll be able to do with it. Great vid man.
Pop's ran them in the seventies. I was the bad ass kid of the neighborhood tooling his hand downs. we called them "thumpers". first bike I learned on was his Triumph blue Tiger across the street if the fields. earned a nice muffler hicky that I was damned proud of. bike was twice me. the brown bikes held the most beauty to me. today's/this one are gorgeous.
Man that bike seems like it would be a good fit for me after I get my full license here in the states since I am probably getting a Honda CRF250L Rally for my first bike.
Would be awesome if at some point in the future you come down to Tassie and do some adventure riding, maybe convince the garden snake to visit down under too. 300k subs goal?
Fucking love this review. Makes me wanna jump on this bike right away. Whenever I doubt my early decision to buy this bike in a couple of months, I watch this one.
Is that T genuinely Kevlar. Or are you pulling our pissers? @5:41 when that peg scrapped I winced at the thought of you going down in that T. The bikes a quality product. Not for me though. I'm a one bike guy at the moment and this just isn't fast n fun enough for me sorry. The new Street Triple would get a look in for sure though.
Torrrrrrrque. Interesting that the torque to weight ratio is similar with the Ducati Scrambler but that the torque is delivered at half of the Ducati's RPM. 2850 vs 5750 to give a nice flat usable torque spread.
What a lovely machine, I still don't get the vast difference between the 865/270 carbed or EFI and this. Triumph has had to go liquid cooled but as per performance? Not much in it. Still that is a sweet ride.
Dude you're positioning wrong for the bends and you're going to have a major off because of it. Not putting you down just dont want to see you come off. If its a right hand bend get near to the left and as the limit point moves away start putting the power down. If its a left hand bend get as far over to the right as is safe and again put the power down as the limit point moves away. Good review of a cool bike!
I wanna ride that bobber. it's NOICE. I'm torn between that and the Indian Scout, that bike was fast as shit, and they're not as expensive. I was giggling like a kid the entire ride
Say I'd had my license 6 months and ridden about 5000 keys and also say I'd look old enough to not obviously be on LAMS do you think one of these 900cc Triumph family of Bikes be an ok ride for a relative newb?
Cool bikes thise things..lts not that many years sinse Triumph was out of buissnis. Now they make (l think) the coolest retro bikes on the planet..and that new bobber is very cool..scrambler is my favourite.
Excellent beginer's bike! I never drove more driveable bike! Super friendly, from height, weight, suspension to power delivery. It will even make you wanna try offroad a bit without shitting yourself from fear of dropping 300 kg adv bike! If you like the stile, you can't go wrong with it! I just love mine! And it's my 4th bike.
slim it down, beef up the suspension, lighten up the exhaust, smaller displacement with a turbo, just a good looking street bike, put in a parallel twin two stroke, I may bite, boooring😴
RidingWithTom ahhh forgot about torque. im not into road bikes so i dont know their power to displacement ratios and thier different categories. love your work bro and keep it up
