I've had m '22 T120 Bonneville for exactly a year now. I agree with just about everything you have reported. The paint on the tank is a bit soft as I have marked up mine as well. It is an excellent machine which I would recommend to just about everyone.
Great looking bike....did you have the map read after the exhaust sys changes. I de-catterd my T100 and fitted the Norman Hyde Toga pipes.....I would like to see how its burning now.....but not got around to it. My T100 is 70+mpg.....mainly A road 60mph max....I use E5 petrol....find it gives better MPG. Carried out several other mods to get it more retro looking....love the bike to bits.....done 6000mls now since late 2020.
Sop does mine run great....so much better after de-catting......but first time I took the spark plugs out there color scared me after those mods.....in the old days they would have indicated a very weak mixture.....not good.@@RedfordBaron
Those new sleeper pipes are awesome did you have to have remap and is it easy to re attach cat for mot, I’m not a mechanic as you probably sussed. Great review, thanks from James👌
Hi you do not need to have a remap i fitted a booster plug and K&N air filter and its got a de cat i don't think there would be a problem with the mot i haven't had one with other bikes
I'd like to believe if I bought the T120 I'd get 60 mpg. However if you were getting 55 as you were saying that would equate to nearly 210 miles per tank. I think the trip computer may be lying 😊
It’s about right I’ve worked it out by brimming the tank and doing the maths it depends what sort of riding your doing I suppose your not going to get that racing around the country lanes flat out all the time 😂
@@RedfordBaron i find the fuel gage on my t120 to be slow in reading and changes fuel range depending on riding style i often see 70 mpg on my MPG i very rarely get more than 180 range on a brimmed tank once or twice over 200
Next year i might do a film on how far it will go on one tank full there's no reason why it shouldn't do around 55 if not ridden hard we will have to wait and see
Nice bike, but what happened to the exposure settings on your phone camera??!!! The footage suggests it is way over exposed. Great because you see all the shadows but the highlights are all washed out. Maybe the exposure setting was on manual +3EV and you didn't realise?
Hi not sure what happened its a new iPhone 13 looked fine when editing RU-vid seem to be able to make footage look poor once its loaded on to their site sometimes
@@RedfordBaron No I think something else was up not YT this time. I have an iPhone 12 and quite often that slips itself into manual mode when filming or taking shots and the exposure is then all mucked up. To avoid this you have watch the settings the whole time. On automatic it is quite good takes really good footage. Maybe take a look at the exposure again in your editing software? My iPhone 12 is not as good at taking footage or photos as my old Sony Android phone which is a doddle to use and takes great footage. Anyway nice bike. Shame Triumph didn't give it top spec Brembos and Ohlins suspension given it is their Bud Ekins limited addition bike, but as you say the brakes and suspension on it are probably ok.
