Triumph Tiger 955i Just Won't Stop Fighting Me!
In this episode I investigate a severe rear brake issue that was the result of badly fitted wheel bearings (maybe). Also a new oil leak has to be dealt with!

We are all victims of the previous owners skills, of lack thereof! My 955i Sprint ST had just 2 previous owners but had the wrong map on the ECU, and the previous owner knew nothing about the suspension set up! Front far too soft, the rear was set as stiff as a wooden bench.. The eccentric hub on the single sided swingarm was a dry as the sahara and needed a large hammer to get it free of the swingarm clamp! once properly treated with an Aluminium anti-sieze compound, I havent had to re-do it for four years and chain adjustment is easy.

Yeah it can be a mine field… usually a good eye on these things but when you’re down at the budget for this challenge… it’s to be expected I suppose, just depends how much time, effort n cash there is to fix these things. Also whether it’s feasible really. Give plenty for video content though so few actual complaints here.

Yeah that can be a challenge, tbf this one all of the issues i face were a byproduct of its age or previous keepers no being thorough in repairs. Once on the ride it was pretty darn good. The go well and make a nice sound doing too!
