It all comes down to personal preference. They are all really good bikes and we are lucky there are so many options on the market. Cheers

The price is comparable for sure and so is the tech on them I really think i have go with the rally Explorer it has a lot more to offer. But no matter what bike I buy next it has to be a shaft drive. I did a month tour on my BMW with a belt drive and that was one less worry too think about I would have not have enjoyed the trip as much if I had to worry about the chain every 300 or 500 km. Also the insurance in my province if I mention I have a Harley goes up by at least 10%.

not too hard to decide between a bike that is on it´s 10x iteration vs a new player from a company that usually does not do adv bikes.

You keep saying the Tiger makes 140hp, but that was the last generation Tiger explorer. The new Tigers are rated to 148hp, which is basically the same as the Pan Am. Actually, the Tiger dyno'd a little higher than the Pan Am during cycleworlds test, and thats surprising considering the Pan Am is chain drive and Tiger is shaft driven. The Pan Am feels more "urgent" because of its gearing, but they're arguably no faster than the other. Same top speed too. Nice video otherwise
