This video is part of a series covering the complete strip down and rebuild of a 1975 Triumph Trident T160 engine. This particular video shows the exhaust camshaft and inlet camshaft pinions being fitted in their correct positions and then tightened with the camshaft pinion nuts which are LEFT HAND THREAD.

Do you mean to check the lobe centers? What re good degree numbers for the Trident? With the twins 102º and 105º are good numbers. Factory set up I had about 92º or so in the inlet if I remember right

Yes, that's right. Optimising when the valves begin to open. I can't remember the degrees, but the valves should begin to open 150 thou BTDC for max power.
