Further to my pinking problem with the HSR carbs that use Manifold Vacuum and that was advancing when accelerating thus causing pinking.I bought a TR2/3 Vacuum Advance that is adjustable, I figured from my previous video that I didn't want any additional advance below 10 inches of vacuum. This shows how I adjusted it, the end result was the pinking problem has been cured, I did try and film my attaching the newly adjusted VA pipe to the carb take off point at tickover, showing that the revs increased by over 100rpm indicating Manifold Vacuum advance was beneficial at tickover, and that my newly adjusted VA was in fact working, but must have forgotten to press the camera button!
