Now the head light protector has continuity. This fly screen looks really composed and harmonized the aesthetic and hope, aerodynamics of that front. It really looks like the front of the bike is now a fine finished job. It makes a big difference! 👌🏻

@@AG.89T it took a lot of thinking whether to paint or powder coat the engine guard. For the use of these bikes and the likelihood of being on its side, or peppered by rocks off road, I decided that painting was the best choice as it would be easy to touch up on the bike. Not so with powder coating. I washed the guards off with soap and water to degrease them. Then I hung them up and heated them up with a heat gun. While they were warm, I sprayed them with Krylon satin black. 1,100 miles and still look great. If need be, it’s quick to mask off the bike, then touch up the paint without having to remove the guards.
I got a Unit Garage windshield for my XC to block most of the wind and will be also adding an extension on top of that. Do you not mind the wind at high speeds ?
It doesn’t bother me. I grew up on sportbike and dirt bikes so it’s pretty much second nature. I’ve had a few touring bikes and the lack of wind blowing on me because of the windshields always bothered me. Made me feel like I was in a car instead of riding a motorcycle. Just my experience in over 40 years of riding. But we are all different so there’s no right or wrong here.
