i've saw russian video about this match. PAPALATHM in comments said that he fell asleep then, woke up cause of burning towers sound, fell asleep again and woke up at 11 am

I guess a lot of people miss the point that this game went for around 3 hours and 45 mins. That was no ragequit that was a total defeat as there were no resources or anything left to fight the Turtroll Rock strategy.
I used to do this all the time on lost temple before blizzard edited the map. You could make games last like 10 hours by towering up on those islands lol. people would take it so personal and not leave, and would go to school and work leaving their computers on (that's when you slowly sneak out of the island and kill them)

It's one thing to make your opponent rage quit. But to make 90% of his supply go *rawra* *rawra* *rawra* liquid fire batshit crazy and THEN rage quit is an entirely different level of annoying.
@@Ivhen 1) This is a big map with tons of gold, which requires more scouting, harder to shutdown hero with capability to farm high level creep camp with ease, such as the known Bloodmage critter block. 2) Orc didn't understand the current situation of his opponent (lack of scouting) ---- 3) Far Seer walked into a dead spot at 0:06 , loses precious timing to creep as Bloodmage already did leveled up. Veteran only use summons to harass instead of ordering hero to go too deep, facing same situation, while they can creep to go lv2 asap. 4) Repeating same mistake 0:36 Demolisher are not often build because they're slow and more harder to escape Flame Strike. But having 3-4 Raiders are great when player knows opponent don't have Barracks. (Scouting is important, and don't go deep) ---- 5) 0:56 This is why player should wall their Gold Mine properly, and check critter. Many casual don't kill critter when met Human player. Raider also block Flamestrike. Witch Doctor's Sentry Ward is very helpful to see invisible and big map scouting as well. If lack of scouting, or at least check potential expo, the opponent will keep milking gold and doing what they want. ----- 6) The Orc isn't trying to break the mass towers properly. Spirit Link, 2 Bat debuff 1 tower, 2 Wyverns aggro could make a difference. 7) The Orc failed to harass opponent economy properly and this is what they would expect. RTS is all about economy harass while you building own. You really make great use of Flamestrike. Also, those islands are completely pointless to have on the map. They were probably placed there without ever considering Phoenix’s capabilities.
3:09 -- but how did you make sure that the staffed of sanctuary'd peasant would teleport to *that PARTICULAR tower* and not ANY OTHER tower on the map?? :O .
Haha turrets are as strong as I remember. Me and all my friends never understood the WC3 pvp. Every game would end with everyone having 20 turrets and no way to kill one another. This brings back memories ;D
He should have been able to clear the wood by his shoreline, build a great hall and town portaled his heroes to one of the smaller islands to destroy the closest towers with heroes (shown at 5:12) o.O that'd help out a lot
i tried this few times, once it was really cool game vs ud but game crashed after 2 hours, other times people just left from bloodmage harass or seeing i have many bases, ofcourse sometimes i just lost before getting lvl 6 or i was unable to get many goldmines which i considered necessary, i expected enemy to make better attempts at my towers and plan was he will just lose wyverns in the process and ran out of money

troll docs, true sight wards all over the mainland and kill the bm and any potencial peasants there, tower around the tower islands to keep track of the phoenix leaving in case he revived there - then hu cant win. Never bother with viverns - just go 40 bats, some shams and scroll buff, make 20 bestiaries around the battle site and mass them as they die, that way u could actually destroy those towers with 20k gold i believe. If not, then mb mecanic with his factory or beast master with the hawk if he can hit lvl 3 could technicly wear down the towers eventually
From the looks of it, he destroyed all his townhall and altar, and teleported his peasant using staff from human shop. It teleported to the recently built/upgraded scout tower since he has no townhall after all. Idk im guessing
spirit link yes, but just make around 20 wyverns, use spirit link, maybe bloodlust, fly 1 wyvern first and back it up so towers initially split targets on other wyverns, try snipe 1 tower or worker and fall back, have master doctor for healing yes, i think next time i try this i should park 20 dragon hawks behind towers in the corner :)
And that's why every race should have its own transport unit. Also a map designer should put zeppelin laboratory on every map that has islands. Even if only design islands.
I genuinely think the only way (once the towers are up and it's too late) to beat this is for the orc to somehow clip his army with a town portal on one of the island? What do you think? Bats and wyverns will never be cost efficient against towers, but if he managed to teleport even just the TC and farseer on the island he could definitely wipe it out.

For humans as staff destination is selected most recently built: - castle* - keep* - town hall - barracks - workshop or sanctum - altar - cannon tower* - guard or arcane tower* - scout tower if you have none of the above then you cannot staff *in case of buildings that are upgraded most recent refers to when was built town hall or scout tower from which it was upgraded
He could have easily win if he gets a witch doctor to put down a ward on an island. Have his Farseer buys a teleport staff to the island and wait for earthquake while his air army just sit there next to the FS.
You don't lose, you only get revealed after a while after your last town hall was destroyed, the enemy can see every building and i think every unit/hero as well.
to be fair if you can manage to get 5 expansions and a level 6 blood mage vs orc on this map you already won. Only thing I don't get is how he is teleporting his peasants to the towers with his staff. Why do they prioritize teleporting to those specific towers?
