I will just say that for How to Lose Against Ecos Pt.2 they do actually flash for Jawgemo that I missed the first time, however he's still wide swinging well ahead of his team against an eco where no trade is even close to available into an unknown amount of players. Still trolling in my book.
Okay, hear me out you send in all the crazy visual clutter throw wingman out there with no cover so he can die with the spike but actually the whole time you've been creeping up the other site so that your Omen can ult to pickup the spike and now you have a 5 V 5 retake. Although, I suppose this doesn't apply to the round immediately after the pistol, but this does make that garbage Omen strategy from the video from a while back make more sense.
@Damon Rose Val Then you've got a free plant, and the enemy team doesn't know how much site control you have. There are some fast rotations because Omen has ult, and Gekko had to hang back a little bit, and time is now on your side in the round.
but the thing is if a team knows that the opponent's omen has got the ult, they could easily counter that set play by knowing that single information. that's why 95% of the time this set play wont work even if u have 5v5 retake

not really an issue gamesense itself, seems like lack of proper practice as a team. IGL and coach is the main issue here and also should have better positioning as a team. Seems to me they are like playing ranked with some cordination.
It's amazing how you can go from watching one of the worst yet entertaining games to one of the best games in DRX vs GE.. with crazy mid round calls and big brain plays. Just shows how different regions approach the game and why I will always doubt NA Valorant.
Potter and Boostio have this team strategically starving. Potter has the worst timeout timing and after a timeout they always look as bad as they did before the timeout. They need serious changes
0.09 of a save implies that the enemy team is on a full buy, like Vandals "Once a year" doesn't make any sense, because this isn't the probability of losing a second round, it's probably higher, the guns and abilities you are up against are simply worse. (and not to mention you're against sherrifs and shorties, with a spectre in hand, its not like you can just dominate the long fights n short fights) Still a throw, but 1/1429 seems just extreme for the sake of a video intro. id guess (off 0 evidence) its somewhere in the 30-15 percent per round (off 0 evidence). At 20%, its 1/50 to lose 3 out of 4 rounds after pistol, with binomials n all that.

This is just my opinion, but it feels like I'm not seeing enough substantial praise for C9's te for how they played this. Every single compliment was backhanded in saying it was just EG trolling. I feel like we have to focus on player flexibility and eco strength. Xeppa and Zellsis are incredible with stinger, and Zellsis is a mastermind shooter through smokes. Tbf, there probably is more praise than I'm seeing. Just feels like analysts have been criticizing EG more.
Also, it's weird that people are now acting like this was the expected result. No one expect jakee and runi to play well. That 4k on sheriff eco from runi was filthy!
it was a clown fiesta match. half of the time i didn't know what were they doing from both teams. we past from watching Loud playing well gekko to EG playing worse gekko.
I think the percentage of losing 3 times against an eco is the same as losing 1 time, because the percentage will not decrease by losing. So it will always be at 0.9%.
That is not how math works, it's the probability of happening 3 times. So the math he showed in the video is correct, while the chance of happening will be 0.9%, the chance of happening 3 times is highly unlikely.

The odds of losing the 2nd round 3 times is actually smaller than what you just calculated because it's the odds of losing the 2nd round given they won the 1st round
I feel like this team always looks overcoached and the players reply too heavily on set pieces. Once they hit the end of their playbook or they hit a map they aren't that well prepared for they just kinda fall apart. Reminds me of a less talented version of the early Fnatic teams.
EG need better coaching. Their player talent is excellent. But their comps and strats are disastrous. Pearl was just a bad idea, they didn't optimize their natural player talent. Upcoming duelist talent in Jawgemo and you put him on Harbor? Sova instead of Fade on Fracture? I'm all for fun comps, but not bad ones. The offensive playbook on Pearl was bland and predictable, the defensive playbook on Fracture left much to be desired. Someone needs to help this team unlock their potential.
You are wrong about sova for breach when ethan played breach but otherwise I agree , To me it's seems shocking how a ten man roster is struggling on setplays when they have a distinct advantage for it
The Fade pick is much better for Fracture because of all the tight angles, corners, and pockets that the prowler can clear even if the haunt doesn't see them. And the ultimate can give much needed intel.
@@briankettering2889 yea I agree fade is just better I guess the sova pick was used to allow for unpredictable darts and an easy break of kj ult but the darts were not impressive enough to justify the sova pick
The math in the beginning is not quite right I think. It should be (0.09^3)*4(because there are 4 different ways to lose at least 3 out of 4 2nd rounds) which would be around 0.3% or around 1 in 343. That's the chance a team loses any three(or all 4) follow-up rounds after winning all 4 pistol rounds. You calculated the probability someone loses 3 out of 3 2nd rounds, provided they won pistol. Definitely still trolling though.
@@KrypticKrul I think you are correct in saying that I was not quite right however, I think the actual answer would be 0.27%. My thinking is that there are 4 ways to lose exactly 3 out of 4 rounds and each probability is 0.09^3*0.91 plus one way to lose all of them 0.09^4. Which would end up in total as (0.09^3*0.91)*4+0.09^4. Haven't done probability calculations in a while though so I might still be wrong.

It's more that you need someone who isn't smoked off there with you outside tower while you wait out the hail of utility being thrown at you because people are always worried about someone on towers. If yiu don't have help yiu end up screwed because they can just b line for you while you're stunned or smth. If someone else is with you on site or past smokes it's less to worry about for the towers person who can focus on arcade or just wait out the stuns and mollys while the enemy is dealing with your teammate who's likley in a less important position to get control of for post
I think the problem isn't about the position, pretty much every pro team still anchors onto tower, I think the problem is the agent that EG decided to put in that position. KJ doesn't have any utility that can be used to fend off the people coming from sewers, which is why it was so easy to push into tower. If it was, say, a KAY/O instead, I imagine he could use his popflash to counter-agress the push onto tower and at the very least trade a 1-1 kill
Fracture in general is a map where you need to take one of the sides (either upside or downside of the map) to properly defend a site. But if you want to anchor B site without doing that, you either play off your own utility from CT (assuming you're playing sentinel) or use a shotgun in tower and stay there. Or ask for one of your teammates to hold one of the sides with you while your utility holds the other side. Also never forget to ask for smokes in critical spots (stairs and arcade) so you can hold the attackers and try to live a little bit longer until your team comes to help you.
