In this video we launched the bay boat in Surfside TX, and headed offshore to do some trolling for king mackerel! It was a beautiful day offshore and we ended up catching tons of Spanish mackerel as well as a few nice Kingfish. We brought our fresh catch home where I then showed how to fillet the fish and make a delicious smoked fish dip recipe. @@flightnavigator8999 when trolling with more then one rod, you leave it in gear because lots of times you run through schools of fish and there’s a good chance your other rods will get bit as well. Also, keeps everything from tangling

I was wondering the same thing. Seems like the natural thing to do would be take it out of gear or just knuckled in gear but I see people still running while reeling in the fish. Thanks for the answer Cam. Also why no snapper dropping? I'm guessing no bait for it?
