Not that funny tbh, whoever does the first "cheese" move looses: If you play togwaggle first your opponent can play explore ungoro and swap back next turn.. then proceed to play skulking geist later.
I tried this on the very first game of the season, after planning this out for ages. My first opponent screwed me, and somehow got a copy of both togwaggle and geist from mind visions. Somehow, the situation got turned around and I ended up fatigued, and hella confused. I found that hilarious.
Tbh, the priest's gameplan was the one giving him the highest chance of success, it was hist best wincon to empty his own deck before swapping back Not many people (I have faced) would have done that
For sure it was. That's what made the dramatic irony so much more delicious. He made all the right plays, had a good handle on the game-state, yet everyone on Toast's end knew it was all for naught. Truly a thing of beauty. Hats off to both players for playing well, and sticking in there, I reckon
Indeed, Toast anticipated that the opponent would do that and put in a Geist and Dead Mans combo to counter it. That Priest lost the game the moment Togwaggle was played; he just didn't know it until he saw his deck get melted and his opponent refill theirs.
Honestly most priests should have a geist. Now he had no control over when he drew it or had any knowledge the play was coming.. but all the same, if he had played his own geist he would have won.
Razakus Priests kill with a mind blast combo. Mind blast is 2 mana >.> Sure they run power word shield but cycling it with geist from the deck is better than actually drawing it since it draws your combo faster and doesn't cost mana. Also jade decks exist. When it comes to slower decks, jades kinda have the advantage. I could maybe see big priest making a call on whether or not to run it. Also the new miracle priest deck (but that is new and we have no idea if it's viable yet)
That would require Trump getting out of rank 7, which will be postponed until he can find the right netdeck to copy, claim it's his own "science" and then blame all his shortcomings on "variance"
Love your channel. Only discovered you through offline TV. Got me into Hearthstone, a game a swore I would never play as didn't want to spend money on it.
Yeah, for one person. The other person just has their deck stolen and destroyed with absolutely zero counterplay. This is a problem endemic to Hearthstone in general, the way the game is designed does not allow for both players to have fun at the same time. Team 5 makes it zero-sum because it's easier to print dumb shit like this.
Just saw this. Explosive runes does 6 + (minion health) damage to your face. Meaning a minion that comes into play and gets damaged before explosive runes it will do more than 6 damage. - 1 minion health = 7 face damage.
Posiden ouh that makes sense, I was thinking why snipe+explosive trap does extra damage but knowing it is: 6 - (health), and when it goes to negative it is 6 - (-health) = 6 + health.
It's running a check on the minions health near the end of the effect. An oversight by whoever designed the card being that if you deal damage with other cards before the card complete's, this damage will get bundled in with the runes. During the lava chamber encounter, if you play a 1 health minion, the hero power will deal 2 damage, leaving you at -1 health, then the runes will take effect dealing 6 damage to the minion (-7) and it transfer's that number to the face when in reality, the runes only dealt 6 damage so the runes should only carry over 6 damage.
Expanded answer, if you picked the robes of magi for +3 spell damage, and got the secrets treasure for 3 free secrets as a hypothetical scenario. You get a Snipe + Runes. A minion is played, snipe activates dealing 4 damage + 3 from the robes (7) to a 1 health minion taking it down to -6 health, the rune activates dealing 6 damage + 3 from robes (9) to the same minion bringing it down to -15 health. Because of the bug, the opponent takes 15 damage to face.
im torn. I havent seen that combo enough times to figure out if its busted or not yet. But it certainly crushes decks that are reliant on important cards, like all highlander decks
Your comment was _probably_ sarcastic, but I'm gonna be Captain Obvious and point out that Togwaggle came out about a week ago and that's what the video's about...
King Togwaggle seemed limited to fatigue scenarios only but this is brilliant. Although... careful what class you use it on. Mage can actually make very good use of the discovers. Something worth noting. If your opponent currently has 10 cards in hand. He cannot fit the card to swap back. So in theory you could make a mill rogue deck. Intentionally draw a ton more cards than the opponent, set your opponent at 10 cards in hand and swap.
if 2 people play Toggwagle one after the other and both players have a ransom spell, does the ransom spell still switch decks even if they got their original deck back??? or does it switch which would mean you got the opponent's deck??
After you took away his Anduin, the priest took the only line of play that was still available. Maybe you hadn't drawn Dead Man's Hand yet or something. It's not like there was anything better for him to do.
