Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave crushed it at The Warfield, San Francisco. Playing the Friday night before their Sunday afternoon Coachella set, the band rocked through an insane high energy set which concluded with TS jumping into the crowd during "Do To Me."
Other highlights were extended New Orleans jams through "When the Saints Go Marching In" and "Little Liza Jane." Their execution of the Green Day cover "Brain Stew" is 'Nawlins funk at the highest level. And "Everybody Needs Somebody to Love" was ridiculous.
Cannot wait to see them at Hangout Fest in mid-May.
