I truly appreciated this well-balanced review. It seems most folks are either "Everything Disney does today sucks!!" or "Disney is still Pixie Dust and Magic and if you don't think so you're dead inside!" and it is so refreshing to see someone with a truly critical eye be honest with the pros and cons of this. Thank you!
I mean, this is a preview a full 2 months before public opening...there's a non-zero possibility they are gathering feedback about that kinda stuff and will do a spit and polish pass before the public opening
Well to be fair this is just a preview and they still doing things to it. Is not going to be open till April so they have time to fix the cosmetics issues.
They have built a reputation for exposing kids the adult content as well. Expectations are that they will keep doing it too until "MAPs" can openly live amongst us and our children.
I am not likely to ever film this ride, but DELIGHTED at the saga of what was allowed or not allowed. So glad I didn't skip that part of the video. Thank you for the thoughtful, spirited work, Brayden.
The 5 years it took Disney to complete TRON is about how long Universal Orlando will take to build the entirely new Epic Universe park opening in two years! 😂 Universal managed to take advantage of the COVID shutdown, utilizing the empty parks for uninterrupted construction of new rides
Thanks for your in-depth video about Tron, the best on RU-vid so far. Even better than the creators who fully broke rules and filmed on their phones! Your videos are quality without having to break rules and I respect that :)
Keeping the lil path between fantasyland and tomorrowland is by far my favorite takeaway from this. I've missed that path dearly for quite some time now. Glad to see an old friend return
Thanks Brayden. I know this makes your day, after all the discussing of this ride that you have done. I am so glad you got to ride it before it opens to the public. We appreciate you and your honesty about Disney.
Thank you for covering the whole entire experience like the aesthetics & lockers. This is why these pre open events are important, getting out the kinks!
Thanks for going the extra mile to get gets us the POV coverage (and to that second CM who got you another chance to ride). Your complete honest reviews are appreciated! You would think laying out specific rules for recording and letting all CMs know would have been established. Disney knows a lot of people will want to record the experience. Hopefully that is clarified before April.
I am SO glad that I have no desire at all to ride this attraction. I'm just going to enjoy strolling around the grounds taking in the sights. Brayden.... Thanks for all your effort and hard work in getting this done. You've done an excellent job.
Great to see an honest review that also isn't overly-negative. I've read a lot of negativity on this ride, but my expectations are like yours. I know it's short, but for me I think it's just enough. Thrill rides are sort of hard for me, but I still want to experience them. It almost feels like a ride made just for me! Perfect intensity and ride time, IMO.
The enforcement of rules that were being made up as they went along was very uneven. I saw a guest film holding their phone. The situation has to be really ridiculous if I have to get in several arguments and debates and hold up the ride in order to do something which is allowed. But that's what previews are for, to get the operational difficulties smoothed out! Thanks for watching! ~Brayden
@@MickeyViews At least you had the common decency to use something secured. Other people using their phones or non-secured devices could drop into the ride track system which could be very dangerous especially at the launch.
I understand the frustration of the varying rules but you “getting in several arguments and debates while holding up the ride” is ridiculous on your part.
@@AHop0211 better to clears things up now during preview than have the confusion from some paying guests when it opens. Imagine the holds on the lines then. With Brayden's rep, I willing to bet my shiny new nickel that management watches his videos
Brayden! Thank you for the incredible insight, information, incredible shots, views and coverage here. I always look forward to your videos. I’m looking forward to your Bayou Adventure coverage and everything else!
Great in-depth review as always. You are pretty much the only disney channel I still watch, you are just so informative and honest. It is sad to see the details not as good as they should be. Also look forward to hearing from others how riding Tron compares to Hagrids.
I appreciate what you did there, you're a rule follower even tho the rules aren’t clear. Lots of creators breaking rules and I don't appreciate that. Great job on this video.
I love how you give this review. You are like me following everything from the building process. Your excitement is real and this is the best video for now i have seen just because you know everything. I love the fact that you show things who are not done or need fixing.
8 seconds in and paused since my preview is next weekend. But showing the algorithm that I received the notification, engaging with Brayden's content to support the channel, and seeming like another weirdo on the internet posting this 😆. I shall return after I ride.
Brayden your a great new fresh face to look at , you seem more informative than the other bloggers, I’m going to watch you more than the others they bore me , great fun you had with the train ride , can’t wait for your others.
This was so gratifying to watch! We have followed along since the very first construction update. We were not successful in getting a passholder preview but thank you for allowing me a sense of riding the ride. Can’t wait to do it in person!! 💙
Best coverage of TRON LCR I've seen yet! Extremely informative! Thanks for that extended piece in the middle about filming the ride. Sorry it was such a hassle to do, but thank you for "taking one for the team." :). Loved every minute of this one! As usual, keep up the awesome work!
It was so good! I got to ride it today as well! We got lucky enough to get front row... However, this felt like it started and ended so fast... Wish I woulda known you were in the park today... Would of said hi!
Crushed it !! Completely Magical boss, an absolute masterpiece, and after five years 🎉just amazing! The goPro is a great idea, just weird how you got some heat on that, confusing for sure! The future for Mickey Views looks bright with you in the drivers seat boss! From Miami to Orlando, thank you!
I appreciate your balance within your criticism. Your perspective is that of an avid parks fan, but your criticism isn't niche. You were courteous enough to note when you were about to discuss more niche points of criticism, with focus primarily on the core ride experience and what to expect. Great review
Disney needs to have a couple of wheelchair accessible bike seats on each coaster and perhaps some double wide seats for the disney guests that surly need them.
You commented right away about the dirtiness on the outside canopy on Tron as well as roof of Space Mountain. You should be aware that during La Nina's Florida and Caribbean get hit with heavy Saharan Desert dust, during El Nino and No Nino's we don't get Saharan Dust but 3 years of La Nina which is just ending was the heaviest since the Dust Bowl Days of the 1930's and Florida had 30 years worth of Saharan Dust fall on the state making EVERYTHING in the region get nasty and dirty/grimmy in and outside of theme parks,
I’m so happy you gave us every detail as possible! I’m excited to ride and can’t wait for annual pass holders to be able to visit Tron. Thank you Brandon.
You are the best! Thank you for going through the hassle of getting everything and wanting to get us the footage. It looks very simple inside but I'm trying to keep realistic expectations and trying not to hype it up too much. I'm SUPER excited but I think just cause it's a new and INTERNATIONAL ride. I grew at Disneyland. Can't wait to get the chance to ride. Probably not for another year or so though.
I am soo happy for you that you got your footage. I recorded all my rides in Disney but on a ride like this, it is understandable that a regular camera or phone would not be able to be held for long. I wish I had money to get a go pro but hopefully one day I'd be able to get one. It's just amazing thing to do to be able to record your experience on a ride like this.
I wonder how many minutes/hours that you have talked about Tron in your videos. This does feel like the end of an era for your channel. What a great finale to years of work!
So Universal has Hagrid and Velocicoaster with incredible theming and storyline and Disney just lunched its THIRD dark coaster with basically a bunch of lights (if you count Test Track, its FOUR). Disney is turning into a cheap amusement park.
Superb video! You just increased the experience anticipation value of Tron beyond anything Disney marketing could ever produce. Wake up Disney and offer Brayden a position!
Another awesome update! How exciting that you got to ride TRON! I enjoyed the whole video, including the issues with filming and the lockers. Can't wait to see what you deliver next.....
You are the best You Tube content producer I’ve ever watched. Thank you so much for covering this. It’s not being nit picky - those are things Walt would have noticed (at least imho). The details matter. Even the restrooms you mentioned matter - think of Tangled restrooms famous because of the attention to detail and theming. I can’t wait until your next video. I will have to check and see if you have any about visiting Disneyland. In fact, I would love a series by you on traveling to and from Disneyland and Disney World. If Disney hired you to be a President of Resort Communications (idk if there is such a thing!), they would have far fewer problems. Bravo!!
Congratulations Brayden! Five years is a long time to stick to one project😅 looking forward to seeing what’s next for your channel. Thanks for your hard work. 🎊
Wow! Your videos just never disappoint-looks like a fun time, hoping they work out the “kinks”. Wondering when Passholder previews will be, really looking forward to that!☀️🌸
The reason for cast member previews is to have the time to identify and fix problems, before the annual passholders, aka park guests, get on the ride. Honestly, I don't think the cast members should be allowed guests in the first couple weeks, so that way these problems can be fixed before media & other park guests get on the ride.
I saw it when they put foundation then right when they finished the show building and started on the outside track and then I saw it 4 months ago and they mostly finished
Hey Brayden! Great in depth review of Tron. Hated to hear that the attraction already looks worn and rough in places, but I'm sure that will be taken care of before the grand opening. Remember...Iger's back. Keep up the great work!!
I will say that this version looks a lot nicer than Shanghai in terms of the outside entrance area. I like how there's a lot more greenery and landscaping compared to Shanghai which looks mostly concrete. Overall it feels more natural/organic. Also the Space Mountain view is a nice bonus.
Also the outdoor section of the ride can only be appreciate at night. Why make a ride that has a moment of the ride only be good at night? Makes no sense. I’m a huge Disney fan. But these past phew years have made me feel sad. They really don’t listen to its audience. I rather have the beauty and the beast dark ride🥺
the outside looks nothing like the tron , lighting looks like was design by someone who watched the movie casually , but didnt care that much for movie
You did an awesome job covering Tron from beginning to opening. Thanks for the great content. Can't wait to see what you put out next. Any new documentaries for the Address Unknown channel?
the back door doesn't ever close during operations, at least the times i was there, so we were never closed in. once it fills they just stop loading that hallway and switch to the other
Great review Brayden! It looks super cool. Cracking up at all of your Go Pro attempts. Glad it finally worked out and you got to go a second time! Can't wait to ride whenever we get down there next!
Great work as always my friend!! The camera stuff has been all over the place for sure and I would have been equally frustrated with the situation as we all learn what’s allowed and what isn’t! I was able to ride with my action camera stuck to the front of the vehicle so I got lucky, or they just didn’t notice it! Footage looks amazing but I haven’t posted yet because I was afraid it could cause even more confusion but since I’ve seen other posting, I might as well! See you around!!
