OyBoY' tron is a system bug, nobody noticed. Tron is a computer system but somehow he has a soul. Tron is the key, keeping the line together beetwen real world and the system.
my coworker was trying to access a drive on the network and when she said 'I got in' this started playing in my head and I was mentally absent for a little while.
Just watched this movie on Disney plus, and when this music kicked in I got straight chills, bc I loved this movie as a kid. It made me tear up, no lie.
@@oooohapenny4707 I'd watch the first movie just to get more lore, but keep in mind it's a low budget film from the 80s so they didn't have the technology to make things pretty like we got from Legacy.
They own the rights. So they will just recycle the music. Same with John Williams and star wars. We're really getting old bro, all the legends that touched generations are retiring 😢
This soundtrack wasnt actually composed by Daft Punk. They were just used as marketing more or less - the actual thing was written by Jospeh Trapanese who is still fully functional and also wrote the soundtrack to Tron : Uprising and Oblivion... So all possibilities are still open.
0:41 will NEVER NOT give me chills! Thank you, Daft Punk for gracing us with this album. and thank you, Disney, for making a movie to accompany this masterpiece of a soundtrack!
Hello, its me - the guy who is informing everyone in this comments section that in fact most of the soundtrack was written by Joseph Trapanese, so check his stuff out if you like this style of soundtrack
Tron Legacy might not be a perfect movie, but this soundtrack reveals the potential that it has. The whole techno feel but with the 80s background makes so cool. I thought it was one of the coolest movies ever when my dad took me to see it in the movies at age 7 From the great and exiting score (especially for a 7 yo) to the graphics of the movie; The cyberpunk style with the neon colours contrast
I was like 5 when i saw it in theaters for my mom's birthday and it was and still is one of the best movies i have ever seen in theaters. We later got it on disc and i have loved it since then, its been over 10 years since i first saw it. And honestly the Tron worlds in Kingdom Hearts 2 and Dream Drop Distance hold a special place in my heart. You are absolutely right as well because techno and 80's synth is an amazing mix, plus the neon colors are great as well :D
"The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Ships? Motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. _Then, one day, _*_I got in_* " Such an amazing line and a fantastic way to open such a good movie like Tron
Well, this soundtrack was mainly written by Joseph Trapanese (who also did Tron : Uprising and Oblivion), so check his music out if you want more of this cinematic synthy-stuff.
The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What do they look like? Ships? Motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then. One day. I got in.
I know, me too. Maybe it's just that futuristic world we love that is perfect in multiple franchises- halo, Tron, Mass effect, and we can't get enough of it. I know that halo made me want to start my own company that makes spartan suits. I'm not joking, that's what I'm gonna do
TRON ah. You must have been very strong to survive the sea of simulation. The new grid you moved to was merely a sector of the old one. The grids are all connected, you know
@@ZLunas It was a blessing as well as a curse. It was cool for us fans of the original, but turned off a lot of people who don’t care about the old characters.
This is one of my favorite tracks. My best friend worked for a company where they played Tron Legacy soundtrack it all the time. The grid came on and he said all words word for word. Cracked me up and ever since then, it's kinda been a inside thing between us.
to melt this insane RIDICULOUSLY DELIRIOUSLY THROBBING drug and to see my veins open up ,,,waiting for the moment of this INTOXICATING desire to give me life ,,,you guare truly GIFTED geniuses,,,,who know how to infect my INNERS with your magnificent MUSIC,,,,,there is never a reason not to chase this MUSIC,,,that makes me feel YEARNING for a human touch,,,,absolutely precious GIFTS for this dimension and galaxy to behold,,,EPIC
Jeff Bridges would have been the best Ogden Morrow for the "Ready Player One" movie...I like Simon Pegg, but I don't see him as the great and powerful Og.
I somehow feel this is also what Ernest Cline pictured. It's certainly what I pictured reading the book, too! Why not use an 80s icon like Jeff Bridges? I'm really surprised they didn't.
Ever since I watched this movie back then I always was amazed by the neon lights and the music scores. I was a child back then in 2010 but damn my imagination ran wild that I thought "what if Tron was actually real? What if we were able to somehow bring a game to life or somehow teleport into the virtual world and make it become reality to escape the real world?" So damn badass in its own way yet it don't feel like a Disney movie at all
The Grid A digital Frontier I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer What do they look like? Ships, motorcycles? With the circuits like freeways I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see And then... One day...
DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUN DU DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUN DU DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUN DU DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUN DU DUN DAUUUUUUUUUUN DA DAAAAAAAAAAAAA DU DE DAAAAAAAAAAAAAA DUN DE DEUUUUUUUUUUUU
Tron Legacy is my all time favourite movie.. I can't keep it at top enough.. the soundtrack adds so much to the movie. I really wished they listened to the Tron fan base.. not the margin of profits.. 11 years on from Tron Legacy.. my 10 year old son has fallen in love with it and is asking for the next Tron.. I just want to be in the grid with him.. like Sam was work Flynn..
The Grig. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What do they look like? Ships? Motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then, one day, I GOG IN.
I love this theme so much. I have been watching this movie a lot and it still is one of my favourite movies. But the sound is also magneficent. Slow bit, narrator in the background and SUDDENLY strong electrical keyboard. Just gives you that tense, the epicness, the cybernetic climax... Just pure piece of art.
THE BEST DAFT PUNK I'VE EVER HEARD ! J'vous adore les gars ! Toujours l'électro que j'aime, avec cette résonance derrière, comme si la musique se perdait dans l'infini ! Ça me rappelle l'époque Trance music. Love love love. ♥
Attention: The headset that was worn by the lead actor in the movie which made him look young was interesting. That technology has to be refined so the lead actor who is playing a young person in the movie does not look fake. The tech is good but when you see it in the movie you know that the person looks robotic or fake. The tech has to be believable in convincing the person that you are seeing a live young person. "I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see, and then... one day.. I got in." That's a saying that can be used for anything like getting into the acting business, music business and so much more. It's the leap from being an average joe to being a big time celebrity overnight which is possible with hard work
