Hodně Čechů si na tento film stěžuje. Že to není podle skutečnosti. Opravdu je to hodně upravený, ale mě jako Čecha to neurazilo. Líbilo se mi to i na pár historických nepřesností. Chválím hudbu a respektuji režiséra, že dokázal v komunistickém období natočit tento film v Praze a i s několika českými herci ( btw: V 1:57 jsem Josefa Abrháma vůbec nepoznal). Děkuji, jste moc hodní! Jsem si jistý, že mnoho scén bylo "vylepšeno" pro dramatický efekt, zejména útok Němců na kostel, ale stále je to poměrně přesný popis atentátu na bestii, kterou byl Heydrich, a je to film, který mám vždy užíval. Ještě jednou děkuji za váš komentář!

@@SSSoldat But they are in such a strong position and have so many of the advantages. Sheer force of numbers and brute strength win out in the end, thankfully for us! But so many of our kameraden have fallen in the process!

I always wonder whether the fight has happened inside the church, may be a small fighting has happened but not so much. The church has not suffered serious damage and evidence has just not found
It did occur but perhaps they enhanced it in this movie and 'Anthropoid' and 'The Man With The Iron Heart' to make it more exciting. This is the best movie of the three for me but they're all good.

The way the German soldiers were shot as they came down the stairs ending up slumped in a pile lying on top of each other was so hot to watch. Brutal action throughout this clip :-)
It's my pleasure! It's a movie I've always liked. Much as 'Anthropoid' and 'The Man With The Iron Heart' were good, this is the best one about Heydrich and his assassination.
@@pandaberserk3390 'The Man With The Iron Heart' is also about the same subject and equally as good as 'Anthropoid' I'd say. There's also a 1964 Czech movie called 'Atentat' which is worth a watch if you can find it.
@@robertgabuna355 There are several good movies about the assassination of Heydrich but in my opinion this is the very best of them all. It's in my Top 10 war movies.
The SOE guys must have been carrying a lot of spare magazines on them personally during that running fire fight. Sten mag on full auto would have been empty within 3 seconds. Yes they went down with a fight, but a nazi body count to rival where eagles dare? Keeps the movie goer happy.
Not one single German soldier died in the attack on the church. There were 5 or 6 injuries. All the various Operation Anthropoid movies totally embellished the shootout.
@@evertonevelynsmith5431 This operation is very well documented in German and Czech language, whole German order to attack, maps and drawings of the Church inside, the final reports an finally lots of pictures. So yes, final report written by Germans stated that only 3-4 wounded and one soldier fell unconscious. The paratrooper had only small pocket pistols with and were low on ammo. You can find pretty deep video on YT made by Czech guy that discuss this with documents I mentioned.
