I think one of my most hated tropes are the "If you abort you die" and the character is having lots of sex without protection and starts feeling sick and don't know why

I love mpreg from seeing the movie Junior with Danny Devito and Arnold S. when I was a kid. It was new and interesting and it was done by just putting the female egg and putting it in a man. It was always that way with the exception of fantasy/sci-fi that a man became pregnant due to eating something that was magical or was chosen. Now its replaced with yaoi or with today's hot button issue. I like mpreg for the new perspective than just the women. It brings out a gentleness in the man which makes them more loveable. I even had written a story about a mpreg but I never finished it. My mpreg character is a immortal alchemist who wanted to have a child after the death of his wife hundreds of years prior.

Oh man these pregnancy tropes are something. I'm not at all a fan of the Baby Trap Trope. That's just a big ol nope from me. As for the others, never really experienced reading those tropes, so I don't have a solid opinion on them, but they definitely sound weird lol

The Baby Trap motif is the one that infuriates me the most. I can’t think of any examples in movies, TV shows, or books where that trope has ever worked out for the best. It’s always linked to manipulation and abuse and that’s not something I can picture any hero doing and getting away with. I wouldn’t be surprised, though, if the After franchise had this trope in a future installment. If it did, then my only hope aside from the obvious ones is that the kid isn’t named Hardin, Jr.

My least favorite trope is when a pregnant person doesnt even CONSIDER they might be pregnant despite having load of symptoms. Especially when it drags on and on. " oh I keep vomiting in the morning and had unprotected sex two weeks ago. WHATEVER COULD IT BE?

I really dislike M-preg, because it's so biologically impossible that it really makes me pull out of the story completely. I prefer if they would roughly stick with biology. I personally don't care if the story or it's characters are moral.
