Here's another great moose hunt I had the privilege to be part of. It was like "de sha vu" as Jasper shot his moose from the very same spot his father got his moose the previous year.

Awesome video, it looked like very high elevation. Would the moose be up there to avoid deep snow in the winter?

Hi @24cup...... i have always asked that very same question, but no way do they stay up there, most of that forest the moose were in gets covered in snow. They must move down in the heavy timber once the snow gets to deep is my guess.

Is Newfoundland over run with wolves? Across the US the wolves seem to be really killing large numbers of wildlife including moose, caribue, deer, etc.???

No there a very very very few wolves on the island of Newfoundland, we do have the coywolves. which I'm sure have an effect of the calves of both moose and caribou. Thanks for watching
