The wife and I have booked trips with Brad in the spring and fall for the last three seasons. We've never been disappointed and yes we are planning to make it four in a row this spring/fall. Great video guys!
You need to come up to Lockport there, those catfish were tiny compared to the ones we get out here, when your using fresh chopped up goldeye, your catching anywhere from 5-10 35+ an hour with a buddy about 500m from the locks
The big ones surface faster behind the boat because they cause more drag in that current causing them to rise faster than those littler guys who can kind of streamline through that current still being skinny and light
Man I remember when me and my dad would go to the red river and catching these monsters I remember as a kid I was almost pulled in as a kid pulling up a 40 lber
+LikeXxDJProxX YT for sure and they probably catch more fish. We stay away from them just because we catch so many small fish, carp and goldeye. We find that the cutbait gets rid of some of the other fish when we are just trying to catch big catfish.👍
Love the video. Quick question. Been fishing the Red south of Grand Forks for 12 years, but now I'm moving to Fargo. Is there public access fishing nearby? I do not have a boat and am unsure on the rules for the town. Any info is appreciated. Great video, had to like as well.
Sam Goodman I'm going to have to check this spot out this spring before the spawn. I usually Fish for cats in Fargo, but I find the further out of town I get the bigger the catfish get.
