Tropical Jungle Hike, Guapiles, Costa Rica

On this adventure, I go on an incredible waterfall and jungle hike with my friend Kelly! We head over to Costa Rica's Caribbean side in Limón Province to hike a 14km trail up to the magnificent Chindama waterfall. We are accompanied by Ena and Reyes, our wonderful guides from @caminantes_tiquicia and local Bella Vista guide, Gustavo. We also have another wonderful hiker in the group, Don Gerardo. This hike is considered intermediate and technical with 5 challenging river crossings, a lot of climbing and traversing over slippery rocks. I'm very excited to show you all this hike, as the Caribbean slopes are known to be extremely lush in vegetation.
Some of the wonderful plants I come across are the Anthurium talamanca (It's really so spectacular!), Philodendron verrucosum, Philodendron grandipes, and Goeppertia warszewiczii. There are also countless of other anthuriums and philodendrons at every corner. Come join us as we explore the lush jungles of Costa Rica's Caribbean side and witness one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country! This hike is full of excitement, beautiful scenery and amazing plants! I would also like to give a big shoutout to our amazing guides @caminantes_Tiquicia, who made the experience that much better. They also provided me with some of the river crossing footage! Also thanks to Gustavo from Bella Vista, Guapiles who safely led the entire group through some of the most challenging terrain I've come across yet!
