Wow that is beautiful to hear, I'm happy you find it so beautiful and recognize the birds. For me this sounds has also become very familiar spending some time in the forests. I feel they became somehow imprinted deep in my DNA. Wish you can soon come back to your family and the forest.

im just curious why do you say stranded? you seem to me like a very capable person, like a person who can go anywhere they want when they want........however i also feel this way.... i would love to go to Malaysia, i go to Costa Rica quite often, i love to get lost in the rain forests there, and although im addicted to their songs and sounds ive never really had an interest in ornithology

Can you help me identify the low pitch sounds at around 8:50 that start in the background? Seems to be some kind of barbet but which one? And also what’s that repetitive sound that speeds up? Sounds like someone dropping a ping pong ball. Is it a frog?

Exactly, i believe can sound affect your body and mind on a daily basis. Imagine now staying in a busy traffic city or in this rainforest. It defines your reality and wellbeing in interesting way.
