The KHOU 11 Weather Team is tracking Tropical Storm Beryl as it continues moving toward the Texas coast. It's expected to strengthen to a Cat. 1 hurricane.
Got to have the drama. Instead of being able to hear how to protect ourselves and what to expect, instead, we have the dramatic background music drowning out the important information in a "serious" situation.

@nobytes2 I know, but once it makes landfall around Matagora it'll go back to a tropical storm pretty fast. That's why Houston only has a tropical storm warning. Also the flooding during harvey was so bad because it was a cat4 at landfall, and it stalled for 2 days even after weakening a lot.

Radar was going too fast. Slowing down would be helpful (for me at least.) I adjusted to .25 and still had to go frame by frame to get a better view of what’s coming! And nix the adventure movie music… this doesn’t need extra.
The director sure does know how to get viewers to stay tuned. I thought it was going to be a segment about 3 former Miss Texans they have working there.
@@kingdoc3262 Another type of storm, it ripped through Houston-area about a month ago, killed some people and destroyed some homes including a lot of windows of buildings downtown. Meteorologists called it a derecho.

On Weather Try adding Thoughts to the conclusion and thus change. Negative Angry Thinking must change such as Arrogance, Jealousy, Holding Grudges, and Foolishness, Greed, Hatred and All other forms of Anger. No joke. I've experimented with changing my thoughts in these regards and dramatically have changed my directly overhead weather. Not a Theory.

Seriously get rid of the music guys...it is obnoxious! I still think Beryl is going to stall a bit and ride the coast....but I love that these newscasters keep forecasting best case scenarios rather than worst case (although that leaves people monumentally LESS prepared)
