Omg Florida just getting hammered with hurricanes they just can't get a break! Debby, Helene, now Milton! Praying for Florida n everyone that will be affected by this dangerous storm. 🙏🏽❤🙏🏽
@@voiddistortion7937for you? I've lived here all my 55 years, and since Charley, we've not had a direct hit in central Florida. Maybe just get popcorn 🍿 and watch as it comes. You should have a good time.
All my life, I wanted to live in a warm climate, and have a pool. Retired 2 years ago and moved from MN to live in Clearwater, FL. Just got my pool and landscaping finished this year. There hasn't been a direct hit here since 1935, and before that, 1921. I am hoping for the best, and prepping for the worst.
Hope you left your politics back in MN because that's been an outright hellish issue here especially over the past generation. We finally got rid of that idiot Nelson but Joe puts him back in as the admin of NASA I mean there's absolutely NO brains on this rock remaining!
Excellent report. It was educational and very understandable. It included a lot of necessary detail and potential developments. VERY well done! Thank you.
I am so annoyed my 88 year old Ohio Snowbird in-laws rebuilt after Ian 1/2 mile inland from Fort Myers Beach against our advice. They will be FINALLY moving back in 2 weeks. I bet their park will flood again and their new unit, new car, new furniture and belongings already in place will be destroyed AGAIN. And THIS time they don't have flood insurance to rely on. Such a waste of money! 😢😡
This was a very informative update, no time was wasted. Especially on 1.5 speed. Easy to understand, in depth and we weren’t staring at a cone the wild time.
Gonna be like a horrific & ferocious perpendicular hit like Camille in '69, Hugo in '89, Andrew in '92, Katrina in '05 and more. ... I'm not a weatherman, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Thank you for that excellent report. I live in Sarasota and will probably get out of town on Tuesday. The risk is just too great to stay in our home since we live within walking distance of the bay.
My family used to live there years ago... grandfather, my nanna and great auntie. Yes make your way early and go far... away from land inbetween hills where rivers run. Check historis flood maps. Also Google bicycle tracks along the roads because the show the elevation, for how step the hills are for the riders. Pretty clever huh - all the best as you venture out. Dont make it too obvious you've loaded up your car. Act like you're going to visit family etc If things get smashed back in Florida dont be too obvious in your distress. Plan ahead now, you have a bit of time.
I don't think I've ever heard such a great, specific, easy to understand, weather forecast. Superb job. I'm in Texas but have family and friends in the Orlando area. Praying for all in Florida. 🙏🙏🙏
Talk them into leaving. Hurricanes and water are no joke. Tornados also. Depending how bad it is if they need help or get trapped no one may be able to get to them
I started Florida trip last week. I was in west florida couple of days ago. It looks devastating. You really see the impact when you drive there. It is very unfortunate. If this hits again i dont think they will recover in a short amount of time.
Excellent break down. Even if it is heartbreaking and super scary. Hopefully people will be able to leave early enough to get out of harms way. There is so much debris from Helene. That adds even more danger. 🙏🏻 For our Floridians in the South! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Man, you annoying thumpers are real piece of work. Did GOD intervene to protect the hostages in Israel? So do you really believe he's going to read your YT comment and intervene to prevent a storm from hitting FL when Helene already hit last week and killed 200 people? Do you people ever use any form of LOGIC?
Not enough shelters after Helene in Florida! And roads are either closed , under water so we can’t get out of Florida and air lines ? Forget it everyone is running out of the state ! Except for us stuck !
Thank you very much for this detailed and helpful update. I don't live in Tampa but my sister and niece do, and this report gave me all of the information I need to understand the current state of this storm. Great reporting like this might get stubborn residents to listen and save lives. It's greatly appreciated.
Not too close to the coast. At least 10 miles from the coast. I was in Naples when Ian came around and was about 10 miles from the coast. Lots of rains and winds. Did not lose power.
California? Nope! Overpopulated, running out of water, hyper expensive, full of desperate people with no hope for improving their lives and on fire! The rest of the West? Nope, running out of water and on fire. The Midwest? Better, but worsening hail storms, humidity, floods and tornados. The NE? Crowded and expensive. Texas? Horribly overcrowded, expensive and full of desperate migrants. Hurricanes, heat, drought growing worse. The SE? Hotter and hotter and flooded by hurricanes.
The people in Florida have been through enough already. You all don't need this to happen to you again! I'm in Michigan and I can't even imagine how devastating and scary this must be. I pray for God to protect every single one of you and your families ❤
Thank you for being crystal clear in your message. Dangerous storm. Sounds like cleanup will have to be ranked behind North Carolina's disaster. Barely enough time to board up and flee.

We live on Pine Island (south of Sarasota and north of Ft Myers). Charging our batteries for our reciprocating saws. They will be the most useful tool to cut out the soaken drywall and insulation. Cut about 1 ft above the water line. Then, let it all dry out with fans. Buy more insulation, install it, and then replace the drywall and mudding, paint, etc... What a nightmare, but that's the plan of attack. Screw home owners insurance. The deductible for coastline homes is like $20-25K/year. Better off not having insurance, since its a racket.
