What’s left to implode, The Trop has already been stripped down to almost nothing, it’s just a skeleton of a building. Golly, I’m so excited to see another sports team come to my hometown so all our rent and housing prices can increase along with our cost of living prices increase as well.
TOTAL WASTE FOR UNWANTED BASEBALL STADIUM ON THE ALREADY CONGESTED STRIP TROPICANA SHOULD HAVE BEEN UPGRADED AND PRESERVED AS AN ORIGINAL STRIP HOTEL WITH A LOT OF HISTORY
These clowns want to implode and put up another major sporting even facility in an already overly crowded section of the Strip. It's already a zoo around Tropicana.
I must say. Although we can do nothing about this, they still should have moved the stadium elsewhere. The Tropicana was too nice a place to go out this way! #RIPTropicana
I won 1000$ and a bottle of champagne with my last 9$. We were going back home waiting for the bus. Wasn’t just me either. My late Uncle also won and a couple who where on the honeymoon won. All three slot machines 🎰 hit!
The athletics won’t be moving to Las Vegas until 2028 -in the meantime, they will be taking temporary residence in Sacramento, California for three years before they do-they have a lot to time to build it before they finish! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I live in Vegas. The city completely lacks any sense of history. Everything here looks like it might last 20 years, tops. No interesting older buildings, not even the hotels made famous by the Rat Pack. Houses look like they're made of styrofoam, and if you look at what is inside the walls, it looks even more like styrofoam. No roots. Nothing designed and built to last. Just a gaudy Strip and endless strip malls. Of course there are no trees. No shady parks. No shady anything. An Uber driver told me it was more difficult to make friends here than anywhere, and he had spent most of his life in Manhattan. Vegas is the Walmart of American cities. I hate living here even though I've lived here for 16 years. If it weren't for my job and/or if I had been young enough to get another job, I wouldn't have stayed here six months.
