Troubleshooting Clock Hands 

thank you so much. i bought my deluxe clock from you (it has the men drinking and wife beating her husband with rolling pin while the children dance and cuckoo and water wheel move). several years ago, its very complex, but somehow the hour hand became loose. all is fine now. my young children are growing to understand how complex fine Bavarian workmanship still exists! cheers from the US.

AFTER A YEAR OF MY CLOCK NOT KEEPING TIME, I FOUND THIS VIDEO VERY HELPFUL. THE HOUR HAND WAS NOT MOVING AND WOULD MOVE FREELY. SO THE FIRST SOLUTION WAS MY SOLUTION. THANK YOU FOR POSTING.

I got my clock 15 years ago and the hour hand had the typical looseness. Your video was simple, and to the point! So easy to follow so that I can get another 15 years of precision timekeeping! Never move the hour hand. Set the time by only moving the minute hand.

If only it were that easy. Nobody told me what a nightmare it is to set the cuckoo to synchronise at the right hour with the right amount of chimes and music. It is like a mathematical equation that can take me days to solve to get it right. Every year I dread putting the clock forward or back for daylight savings and end of. The hands on mine are different in the spindle to what's depicted here.

What kind of glue is that? Also, I just moved. I packed mY clock in its original box with all the clamps on the bellows the door won’t close after it cuckoos now... nothing looks bent and the wire is below the birds tail. Can you assist me?
