How do you not have a million subscribers your videos are insane I’ve been watching old and most recent ones! Makes me want to fish all the time I watch them before I go out hopping it’s as exciting!
Bro I just found your videos a few days ago and I gotta say I LOVE. Your content. Trout fishing videos are my favorite and I can't wait to watch your channel grow.
Awesome vid! This is one of my favorites of your videos that I've seen in a while man... I love these small creek videos with those beautiful tigers. Would love to see some more of this content!
Great video. I’ve only been fishing a couple times so I love learning about it from your videos. For example, the part in this video where you said that, “It’s usually a sign that it’s going to be a bad day when you make a catch on the first reel” was very interesting. It seems that could be a popular superstitious saying, like an urban legend, unless there is some kind of science behind it that I’m not seeing. I’ll google it. Also, I really like your personality. You inspire me to be more positive. More grateful to be alive.
I love fishing and am all about catch and release...but man, with beautiful places like you're always fishing at... I would be so much more attention to what beautiful scenery I could catch with my camera lol
Noticed the meat was fairly bloody near the head. Do you ever bleed them after catching?? I don't keep/eat any trout here in the NW, but it helps with the taste of salmon.
I don't keep many fish either, but when I salmon fish in Alaska, we always pull the gills to bleed them while they're on the stringer. It definitely helps with the taste of salmon, at least. 🤷
helps with the taste of a lot of fish . If you are planning on eating the fish fresh then there’s really no need to bleed out the fish as the blood in the filet won’t harm you. On the other hand, if you’re planning on freezing the fish, you should bleed it out . People have done this for ages to preserve food longer since blood will spoil the meat very quickly .
All streams and lakes have leaches. That's what a dark colored tube jig looks like to a fish. Gitzit in St. George stopped making the smoke colored jigs so I drove down and bought all their remaining inventory.
Do you Have Cutthroats? Kokanee? Or Dolly Vardens in your area ? These are basically north west species , Alaska, British Columbia, Washington , Oregon , Idaho , Alberta
Your fishing really good , but I feel its such a shame to cover the natural taste of the trout without covering in that spice , but that's my own preference I suppose.
that waterfall is man made.... you should report that or something and make a fish ladder or otherwise there will be no fish upstream and morons killing every fish underneath.... thats how streams are getting killed
You live in a good state. My state Az is over fished. But I've been mapping out All the lakes in the woods Maybe i can get out and Attemp to catch some.
Been thinking about trying these fly fishing flies on a spinning rod an reel combo. It should work. Long as i have quick fly snaps an use 4 to 6lb line on my medium light spinning rod an reel combo i should be great 😊
Never bothered to filet trout. Back in 1958, my grandfather taught me how to do it right! Cut a slit down the belly and remove the head and guts. Take your grill, cover in tin foil, and position it so that the legs on one side are shorter than the other. Put bacon strips on the high side of the grill, and sliced potatoes in the middle. Slap some butter in the trout's belly, wrap it in bacon and place them on the short side of the grill. Bacon grease should run down the tin foil, browning the potato slices and the fish. When the trout are done, you'll have crispy skin and flaky meat. No need to debone or filet, just grab the backbone and gently lift it away from the meat.
That snake's eyes were way, way bigger than its belly! There's no way it was ever going to swallow something that big, but I know, from personal experience with my pet ribbon snakes, that even if they do understand how big something is, it doesn't stop them from trying to eat it!
The only trout we can catch are stocked rainbows, browns and brooks in our state of North Carolina. My grandson has a u tube channel and he catches tiger trout but I don't know where he fishes
This video was flat out sick! My mouth watered when you plated the fried morsels and that coating was fire bruh! Had to pulverize the like button for your efforts man. Well done pun intended!
I love your videos. Have for a long time. When you said leaving your fillets in the "hot" sauce too long will make it too spicy LOL. You must have a low heat tolerance.
Been binge watching these catch and cooks on your channel. It seems like the ones from the spillway are long and skinny compared to the trout in your other videos but I'm wondering if it's just the angle.
I,ll say it again your the MAN, just enjoy the content this time, Im going south to Forida in aug for a few month. So all the fish i will see will be hand size, i still will be watch, keep them coming.
I've had snakes try that before - they see 2 or 3 inches of belly...on a 12 to 14 inch trout. Better than a snapping turtle which will steal your catch
