Awesome! I've been fishing and camping there 3 or 4 times. I'm surprised y'all caught fish right down the stairs. Y'all might have been right behind the stock truck.

Great stream. I live 4.3 miles from there. The water is about normal level, and it is about 3 feet deep all the way across. Walked many times. However the stream level can get above that set of stairs you guys walk down and be in the parking lot. The water when it is that high is very swift and very deep. It would easily wash you away. If you want to see how high that water can get go down to steel Bridge Road which is down stream from your area you will see dead trees up on the bank and pushed into overhanging areas in stream above steel Bridge Road the bridge that goes across the river

I was just recently up at the Devils Elbow put in @ Amicalola Creek (right where the yellow and purple meet on the map)... I believe it's south of where y'all were. I got nothing! Going to have to check out this spot next time I head up that way from Atlanta.

If you guys want a challenge come to Southwest VA. I know you've fished Cripple Creek, Crooked Creek, Big Tumbling and several others. The more Marquee and pressured waters are The Smith River in Henry County, The Can River in Patrick County, Jackson River and Bullpasture in Bath County and finally Big Stoney Creek in Giles County. HEAVY, HEAVY pressure. Try them on a Saturday in April. You guys are good at your craft and I enjoy your videos. Take it from me, the TROUTDR these streams are fun because of the pressure. I've guided for years and always had success at all mentioned. Love to see you all fish as I suggested. Hope you will and good fishing !

Purchased a variety of your products for Trout Fishing here in Georgia this coming Spring. Hope to take my military family on leave with me ...they deserve a good vacation!

Can I ask what hooks y’all use? I normally use salmon egg hooks but 9/10 they tend to swallow them and it makes it very difficult to take out the hook without killing the fish.

where can we get a printed copy of that map? i see lots of online maps, and they're great, but "online" and "trout stream" frequently don't happen in the same place.

Is it really true that as a GA resident, I can only catch and keep 3 trout per year? I know I can catch and keep one trout per day, but 3/year seems pretty slim to me for the amount and regularity that they stock the streams. I posted the rules and regs below. Maybe y'all can make more sense from them that I can. Thanks! @t

I only use flys. Maybe you can create a brand of pautzke exclusive flys for fly fishing!

Took my son there yesterday 6/28/2020 and there was no sign of trouts found. Nothing! Very disappointed. Even hiked to the different fishing spots along the creek... nothing! The area looked like it hasn’t been maintained for months.
