Hey Leif! Fellow Washingtonian here. I just found your channel early last year and I’ve been absolutely hooked ever since. You’ve inspired me to spend as much time as possible outdoors, helped me catch my first trout and opened my eyes to how lucky we are to call this paradise home. Okay, I have to pause to write this first. I live in Indonesia and never touch the snow my whole life, but I can imagine how exciting your solo adventure is! It's around 10 PM right now and I'm watching your video while preparing to sleep, because your videos are always fun, informative, and relaxing at the same time. Hey brother have you tried the carnivore diet? I had some issues myself and my symptoms got much better after going on the carnivore or lion diet. I hope you feel better and can get back out into the wilderness. I agree when I had Covid really bad Leif's videos helped me stay positive. I'm from CA as well and hope to do my first bow deer hunt next year.

In West Tennessee where I live, it doesn't get cold enough for the trout to live, but the TWRA stocks our ponds with rainbow trout every December and January.
