In this adventure, I'm in the midst of the Rocky Mountains, near the town of Basalt, CO and fishing the Frying Pan river. I've never had the privilege of fishing a gold medal trout fishery such as this but i'm eternally grateful I could make it happen on this trip. I will 100% be back to fish Colorado more, it's a different world and the fisheries are incredibly healthy and active. As someone from Southern California, I can't feel anything but jealousy.
