Dalton, we stayed in the boat so we aren't sure how deep it was. Lots of folks were in boats, though.

Big brown... 4 inch fish. I cannot for the life of me understand why people fish for the teeny trout the size of a frozen fish stick, when there are striped bass bigger than your teen aged son in the same river.

Because there are 30” trout as well but they are rare. That’s what keeps guys coming back it’s a little more rewarding when it happens because it isn’t a guaranteed thing like catching a large striper is. I love striper fishing but it’s nothing like catching a large trout that’s 15-20 years old.
