It's always a pleasure to see you. I am Japanese and live in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. This video really surprised me. This food is one of my favorites and I always eat it with Japanese sake. The pet food analogy is terrible. I love trout fishing in Japan. However, the Japanese have no idea of using this as bait to catch trout. In that sense, are you a madman or a genius? In any case, I am fascinated by the wonderful scenery that is completely different from Japan. I look forward to more fun videos from now on. thank you From a Japanese fan
I enjoy eating dried squid and fish lol in Asian its really common. Dried seafood is really common over there. Also most ppl don't know if you like miso soup, or Japanese food a lot of it has DASHI which is made from smoked dehyrated tuna! I'm def gonna have to try this next time I get some dried squid though lol
Hey I live around the area. Thanks for never saying where you are fishing. There are stories where fisherman you tubers say where they are and the fishery is destroyed. Keep up the good work and thanks for the consistency.
Good video. I used Squid for fishing when I was stationed at Torrejon Air Base, Spain and also used while fishing around Osan Air Base in South Korea. However, I never used dried squid at either place. I either bought it frozen or "somewhat fresh". Again, good video. Keep up the good work. Actually Squid is good food and so is Octopus.
Oh, you have tried Japanese "Sakiika"!!! Those are for food we eat when we drink some alcohol. Sakiika is a dried soft squid and it smells like what you have expressed in your video 😂😂
Sakiika is also well known in Japan to catch crawdads. We usually tie sakiika on to the string and put it into the river and wait until crawdads nip to the bait
Why didn't you through a couple of different baits to see if the fish were just really starving or if you have found the new go to Trout bait.Other then that the video was FIRE just like every thing on your channel. Thanks and keep um wet.
"this crap" and "that's disgusting" bro be respectful to asian food. it's okay to not like it and that is understandable, but just be respectful and mindful.
