Intruders for trout are a great tool for swinging on skagit lines. Tie these trout spey fly patterns either unweighted or weighted. SUBSCRIBE HERE: www.youtube.co...
Trout spey intruders mimic traditional intruders for steelhead and salmon, but are generally tied a little smaller.
The materials we used in this fly can be swapped out for your favorite intruder materials. We love greens, blacks, browns and whites for tying this pattern.
I happened to us a lot of Pheasant materials for this fly, but substitutes will still make this fly an great one for swinging for trout. You can also use a forward hackle at the very end to protect the marabou and add even more water pushing characteristics.
Tight Lines!

Thanks for the dubbing loop trick with short marabou. Will try. You should do a video of out takes. It would be fun.
