TROVATRIP Review: I've taken two group trips through TrovaTrip and here's what I think

Hi there, thank you for being so detailed. It's a fact of the internet that only negative reviews will have such detail and ive been trying to get different views from actual travelers before making my decision.

I found this video because I noticed 2 of my subscriptions hosting very different retreats, but the format of the advert was similar. Found they were both with this company and was just curious about trova and how the trips were. Gonna subscribe :)

Hi Sarah! First of all, hats off to this video of yours giving what is undoubtedly an honest review of TrovaTrip. I've booked a TrovaTrip this coming May and while this is going to be my first, I feel like I can already expect the same things that you just mentioned in this video. I will have to say that I've seen some bad reviews of Trova, mostly regarding how the 25% deposit is non-refundable and that some travelers have had bad hotel or guide experiences. I guess that's a risk you gotta have to take with any packaged tour, but the concept of TrovaTrip having an influencer/RU-vidr as the central person/host seems a genius idea indeed. The more it makes the group you're traveling with to be highly like-minded as you because other than the destination/type of trip, you already have something else in common with literally all of them. So far, as of this comment, my trip is still in the future and I hope it goes as well as yours! I'm going to Peru (Macchu Pichu) and the trip starts on a Tuesday - I've decided, just like you, to start a "solo" trip for myself the weekend before in Lima! Actually, I'm real excited as this is going to be my first group trip and I already know I'm going to have things in common with the group. 😀😀 Maybe as of now, if there is one thing I don't really like about Trova, it's that the trip price can be relatively expensive - and that's because the hosts are paid to travel. It just sounds not so cool that the hosts travel free and they even earn from your bookings. You've earned an IG sub Sarah!! 😀😀🤩

Hey, thanks for the helpful video Do they provide a packing list before the trip? I was wondering if should i bring a tent and a cocking equipment or not

how do you pay for what you eat at the restaurant if the reservation is for the whole group or do you sit separately to get your own check?

Hi. Thanks for this review. I just booked a TrovaTrip to Alaska for August 2024. We are also camping. My question for you about this is... what was the free time like on the trip? Also, the temps at night when camping, how cold was it really? Thanks so much.
