I'm a mobile mechanic in Atlanta and I have customers that wants a pre-purchase inspection before buying and was told they never seen anybody go thru a truck as good as I've done. I understand that's alot of money to spend on a truck so I'm gonna make sure your getting your money worth. But you really won't know how the truck will perform unless it's taken on a test drive (which most places won't let you) or its to late when you buy it and put a load on its back. Buying a truck will always be a gamble. Much love brother 🙏🏼
Freightliner is TRIPPIN! Thank you for sharing that “offer”. You are right! They are tryna sell things to people and hoping that those people will bite in desperation. You are one of the the smartest RU-vid truckers in the game. We appreciate you!
My truck use to be a Ryder lease truck at one point. Well maintained and taken care of. They had to do all the major work since it was in their possession. Best purchase I could’ve made
Bro you showing the reality of this business. A lot of dealerships sale this trucks for 80k to 120k plus interest rates, damn, with 400k miles to 600k miles, for sure they get this trucks from auctions at 30k,40k, 50k, fix a little bit here and there and put it for double on sale. Dont let this dealerships rip you off. Thanks for share man.
Freightliner is out of their minds with that ridiculous offer they tried to give you, $90k price range, 600k miles at 2500 a month 🤦♂ we trucking mayne! not lease drivers 😂
2007 is. 379 and on a lot it would be around $80000 but at an auction it depends on how bad someone wants it. That truck could run between $55000 to $70000. Depends on how many are bidding on it and how bad they want it. Just by what you said about it 07 with cat engine and 1.3 million and no engine work I wouldn’t go over $60000. Why is because $30000 on complete engine over haul makes that truck a $90000 thousand dollar truck. That’s not bad for a 07.
Hey Tay.. I was hoping that we would see you there and I was soo happy that we did!! Your energy is amazing and you gave us alot of useful information. We got a couple of trucks that we are gonna bid on.. Cant wait to see what you end up getting... #wetruckingmane
Congrats boss new subscriber got my CDL class a no restrictions I'm about to be on the road in a week I can't wait it's a dream come true and I hope yours are coming to light thank you for the cool videos
I just wanna say don't be afraid of a check engine light the solid orange one that is. I have a 2015 frightliner cascadia been had that light on and off for two years now truck running fine. Just start it up and go though the menu it will give you the code for the light.
Trucker Tay !! Young Man !! If ur choose to get a International Stick with a Cummins Engine 💯💯... Those international Engines not as durable as a Cummins 💯 Also those Cascadia Freightliners those Detroit DD15 is pretty durable Engines....Most of those trucks was probably Company trucks they was turned most times off a 5 year lease.. Majority of the time the trucks have around 500 thousand miles on them...Which is great mileage for a used truck..also bn serviced throughout the lease ...💯💯
Frfr I ain't gone lying to ya! I had mine deleted 🤫 and it's a different beast! Ran through WV like it was small hills. All the old heads I kno got 1 million plus out their trucks before any major issues. 2015 cascadias or newer
500,000 miles on new aerodynamic trucks is when most companies dump/sell them... and for a REASON. They become a financial issue. Large companies have the statistics/numbers that prove it. If that was not true, they would keep them.
You're the man bro I watch all your videos I'm a greenhorn in the market soon to buy my own truck Every time I watch your videos it helps me understand more what I'm looking for in a truck to make me and my family money
I'VE BEEN SEEING POST EVERYWHERE ABOUT FOREX TRADING AND CRYPTO CURRENCY, A LOT OF PEOPLE KEEP SAYING THINGS ABOUT THIS TRADING PLATFORMS PLEASE CAN SOMEONE LINK ME TO SOMEBODY WHO CAN PUT ME THROUGH..?
Gonna flatbed for 2 years save up and buy a new one and have a 5 year warranty and don’t have to worry about all the headaches. Worked in the oil field for 12 years and payed off my house, cars and ect…planning on being a owner operator in two years time.
I rock with you Tay I appreciate your content for real. You motivate me to keep on pushn in this truck game. But you wrong on that Peterbilt I’m going to say 41,000… now send me hoodie. 👑💪🏾
You want a nice smooth ride ... Volvo is it. As for fleet trucks. I kinda gotta disagree, they're maintenance is usually the minimum they can put in. PM services are stretched out to the max, so they put the least amount of money. If you have time , get VIN's, and call the dealers, and find as much info about the truck before hand. Last advice I can give... STAY AWAY FROM DEALERS. That is so important.... they are in business of selling parts and trucks. They DO NOT have your best interest. A dealer lives off of guys coming and going. A local shop, small place, live off of you as a local person, they WANT your repeat business
Keep up the Great works that you were doing youngster I work for Wayne County roads I’m a heavy equipment operator I am the lowboy operator taking all the heavy equipment to and from job sites God‘s will and I have three more years before I retire I plan on buying me a heavy haul try axle in the freight liner or a something Or a Kenworth 600 horsepower keep on being a loving husband and I give you much respect and you take care of your family continue to put out that contact young man I’ll follow you Rob from Detroit at work they call me coach I used to coach oh and I’m a Mississippi brother all right tape keep up the energy keep on Truckin brother
Keep doing what you doing my brother good video good content love it can't wait for the next video but I'm pretty the dog I'm sure I'm close on that price cuz that's a nice looking truck how much I said 80,000 but it's got to go for about 75 somewhere in there somewhere between 75 and $80,000
Really nice see what trucks are at these auctions, there's some that are really nice and could be really good sense a lot of these trucks look in pretty decent shape. Now for that 2007 Pete with limited information but if that truck was owned by an oldie who cared for that truck like it was his child than that truck is in tip top shape even if the odometer saying 1.3 million miles, so with that said my guess sense IDK if Truck auctions are like other auctions where they start at a certain bid (ie the owner of the truck making the bid start at a certain limit like 30k) my guess its gonna go for at least $70k
Even though a Lease rental could be expensive. You not responsible for maintenance or any breakdowns. So say you able to pay 2500 per month you won't own it. But if you have a breakdown it's all on penske
I work for Penske and they 2 part pm,time and miles,if it comes up on time and only has 5 k on it,it gets pm anyway,Roger says when the truck goes to sale,it goes out like it came in,they don’t even take the fuel out if it’s full or half full
If you buy a old pete or kw fix the wiring and the suspension and then put in new engine your set no def also. Everything is simple too fix and somewhat that pete probably 69,475

Mr. Tay, your hussle, energy, positive attitude and believing in God will help your journey reach the next mile stone for your family and you.. Your trucking career will be much better with a Brand New 2023 with a 7 year warranty, that would take you about two or three years with your energy and hussle. No Break Down's..
Just watching your video and thinking that the Pete will go for 72,000 good looking truck are bringing top dollar at actions because it stands out from the company trucks
Yeah they look good but still better to get new with warranty!!! U know the key to the business is staying on the road & staying motivated without taking out of no where HITS.
That T680 with the Cummins, I would have given a hard look at. That 2007 Pete, would definitely be going for more if not for nationwide fuel prices. Those old girls are not known for fuel economy, especially not knowing how much hp. that Cat has under the hood. For the right buyer $65K, taking what they can get $58.5K. WTM !!!!!
First off I love your videos tay and in my opinion I wouldn’t buy an automatic and I would keep the freight liner you got you going to spend more money on a new vs the one you got you haven’t had no major break downs with it just keep pushing it will work out in this market today you don’t want some big payment just my two cents brother WE TRUCKING MANE
2014 TO 2019 Cascadia 's have a problem with an electronic part that fails and it disables the accelerator peddle. The part and to program it is expensive.
