Thanks, it definitely feels like a second home. Honestly, if I didn't have such a comfortable setup, I doubt that I would make these videos on my two days off every week. I get a lot comments saying "your not really camping," or "You should just stay home if you're gonna be in a camper like that." Some people don't get it. Tents were cool in my 20's and 30's. I'm almost 50. I like having a queen bed, bathroom, and full kitchen when I'm in the forest.

@@KennyOfAllTrades I know exactly what you mean. There's all the difference in the world in a man in his twenties and his 50s. I found out in my mid 20s that myself and sleeping on that ground wasn't gonna jive to good at all 😂

But then I decided not to wait until retirement. So, I started this channel and devoted every weekend to going on an adventure. I still have a regular full-time job, a house and kids. Thanks, that's one of the messages I hoped to get across in the videos. People need to slow down and take a break every once in a while. For years, I watched RU-vidrs traveling out of their vans or RVs exploring our beautiful country. I was envious. I thought that because I was a single dad with two kids, a mortgage, and a Monday through Friday job, I would have to wait until retirement to travel. Then I watched my dad retire, and a few short years later, we were putting him in the ground. That's when I knew I wasn't going to wait to travel. I'm no different than most of my viewers. I have a crappy job, I live paycheck to paycheck. Some people comment that I must be wealthy, but I make $22.36 an hour working as a state employee. What people don't see is that I live in a small 100 year old farm place that I completely remodeled by hand so my girls have a home. My truck has 200,000 miles and will be 10 years old soon. The camper is 20 years old, and I bought it 8 years ago for 6 grand (before camper prices went insane). I don't use any fancy equipment. The camper is close to stock. No big solar pannels or lithium batteries. I don't spend money on camping equipment I don't need. The moral of the story is. If I can get out and find solitude, recharge my mental batteries, and escape this crazy life for two days a week, a lot of my viewers can too. I hope people recognize that from the videos.
