As a Pacific Northwester I feel it is my duty to give you the correct pronunciation..... "Til-a-muck". And they have the best dairy products around. I can't remember if you guys went to the Tillamook factory when you were up this way but you can tour the factory. It is awesome! Also can't remember if I told you about our table. We have the exact same model and we hated the table. I wanted it up because I use it a lot but it doesn't leave a lot of room. It is also narrow to get in the refrigerator side. We put a brace under the window and turned the table. We left the bottom cushion and took the backrest and stored it. On the refrigerator side we just have an oversize throw pillow for backrest. Sooooo much better.

The leaf you were holding was from a yellow Poplar tree and if you saw any star shaped leaves , those were sweetgum leaves . can`t believe you were in Oconee State park and didn't go by Stumphouse Tunnel and Isaqueena Falls { the tunnel was made during the Civil War and never completed ] . Though I was so happy that you moved to a more happier version of camping with your truck camper, I was worried that you wouldn’t be including your arial scenes or your hikes and nature scenery. Love the new rig. There are lots of Mountain Laurel & Rhododendron in the mountains and they look like the "magnolia" you saw. They have thick glossy leaves as well and are all over the mountains. I believe you saw one of those. Not sure about tree leaf tho. Thanks for sharing. EDIT: Leaf may be a tulip tree. Mushrooms were awesome. This was a great hike !!!

Ah, you were in our neck of the woods. We haven't been to Oconee St Park yet (or that waterfall) but love that area and the national forests there. You were very close to the 'wild and scenic' Chatooga river and there are some beautiful waterfalls that empty into it. Kellie, food looks amazing as always, Cody 's shirt looks like the Brawny paper towel guy 💪. Tillamook and Bluebell are the best, I like the smaller size of Tillamook, love you guys!! Wow, great idea. Our truck was stolen last spring, we went out to see if we could find it and we did in the next town over. They stole the whole hitch off the truck, the radio, and all our camping equipment. Just make us so mad that someone would steal our things, I totally understand your daughter's frustrations. Tillamook (Oregon) is pronounced Tillamuck. I had relatives that used to live there. I have also visited the Cheese Factory and it's a really good place to visit, so many goodies to try and buy. I just went by there in mid September and I had never seen such long lines. Google said the best time to go is in the mornings and on week days to avoid the long lines. I live on the west coast of Washington and have traveled through there several times on my way to and from California where I grew up. Happy travels. 😊

My husband and I just left Port St Joe, FL. Called the forgotten coast. There are tons of kayaking, fishing, and nature areas. Marianna, FL has the caverns, and tons of hiking trails.

If you are not passed Atlanta, go to Helen GA. There is a campground called Andrew's cove. $6 a night and just a few miles from Helen a German Swiss Chalet town . Try a huge pretzel with beer cheese. Ride the coaster etc.

So glad you made a trip through North and South Carolina! It’s such a beautiful part of our great country. Cody the magnolia like shrub you were asking about was most likely Mountain Laurel. It grows in abundance in our mountains & the blooms are beautiful and sticky. We live i county east,in Pickens county SC. I hope you’ll come back to our part of the country soon! Maybe the next time you’re in North Carolina in the smoky mountains above Cherokee there is Oconaluftee visitor center and it is beautiful. And Elk which were native to our area and reintroduced some 20 years ago. They’re thriving. Come in mid October. Loving your new truck and camper! so much I’ve been looking for one for our Tundra. I'm glad you spent some time in the Upstate of SC. It is a beautiful place. You need to come again. Lake Hartwell is a beautiful lake. Twin Lakes is a favorite campground. It is owned by the Corp of Engineers. There is also hiking trails at Table Rock. Isaqueenia Water Fall is a good place to hike. There is also a tunnel there that Clemson University cured their famous Blue Cheese in at one time. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.

Another note on the yellow poplar, also know as tulip poplar, is Arkansas is a little to far south of it natural range (too hot). It will grow when transplanted (I have one) but as soon as the drought and heat hits it will shed all its leaves.

Tillamook Creamery is on the Oregon Coast....In your travels you might want to pop in there and check it out...Bout two yrs ago the place was totally remodeled and its really nice now....Word of advice though if you ever check it out...Dont go at lunchtime....Hella crowded because they now have the little restaurant area also...Great place to pick up some X-mas gifts...

The yellow, four point leaf you asked about is a Tulip Poplar leaf. It's one of my favorite trees. It grows very tall and actually blooms each Spring with beautiful yellow flowers.

Love this video, My favorite time of year is fall. I think my most favorite part of this video was at the beginning where the beautiful leaves where everywhere with all the bright different colors. I think i liked that more than the waterfall even though that was very beautiful too. I hate when cities make you rake up all those beautiful fall leaves up. I think they add color and make everything look better. This is all my own opinion though.

I agree that cupboard needs painting. Don't go too light blue. It needs something darkish to go with the other cupboards. Even dark grey or brown. To be a bit "peckish" means you are getting hungry and need a nibble of something.
