Good Sunday morning Catherine. It warms my heart that you take the time to visit the sites where my ancestors lived and that you take the time to learn about these amazing dwellings and people, for that I thank you! Also, great pics of the first sunset at camp! I love pics of clouds. I even have books on clouds. As always, love you and be safe 💖🙏.
If I may. Let me pass along a little tip I learned from my Italian grandmother. After you pour the canned tomatoes into the pan add the water into the tomato cans, swish the water around in the can then pour into the pan. It will clean the can and add more tomato flavor to your meal..
Enjoyed learning about the historic ruins. Quite amazing that they were able to build their cliffside dwelling on five levels accessed only by ladders, and also how the Tazagoot dwellings were accessed through their roofs. Your spinach pasta looked yummy and I wish we had smell-o-vision. Happy Trails! Jenny
Yay Kat. That supplement is a super move in the right direction. I wish I could adopt you and teach you the shocking things I've learned about our food supply and how to protect ourselves. There are many more steps. AG1 looks like a good one. Keep advancing darlin'. Your vids are a gift I won't forget.
These ruins reminded me so much of Mesa Verde. The care they took building these dwellings was amazing and have stood the test of time. Thank you for the respect you show toward these indigenous people. Love this video!!
I love that you are still in our beautiful state. Cottonwood has a wonderful park called Dead Horse Ranch State Park which has three lakes/ponds with amazing variety of birds.
Enjoyed the vid. I turned my mother, who is totally against people sitting looking at their phones, onto your vids and she enjoys them. That coming from her is worth many thumbs up 👍
Dear Cat 🥳👍🍀😘 what a nice historic place! we like that very much. 🙏Your Pasta diner was delicious 🤤 hmm… So we hope you a have good week in your cosy home on wheels 🙂 many greetings, Your Berlin fan Couple, Nicole and Hardy 😘🍀
The BEST in the summer especially! I have lived in the Phoenix area 25 years and always love seeing the summer sunsets, which are usually pink, purple, peach, orange and sometimes crimson red!
I visited cottonwood as a home base to explore that area. I loved tuzigoot and Montezumas castle. It was so cool at tuzigoot to be able to step where the people who once lived there stepped, inside the actual rooms. Snd up to the roof. Montezumas castle was pretty amazing. I really wish I could have climbed around in there. What an amazing site
I love thar drive up 87. I have done it many times. The little town of payson, pine and strawberry. I love the verde valley area. One of my favorite places. That pasta dish looks yummy. Take care and stay warm and safe. Enjoy 👍
Thank you Cat for this visit in a part of Arizona. I am staying in AZ and plan on visiting the many wonderful places this beautiful state has to offer. I am definitely putting these places on my list. I also love that your share your meals with us. I am always looking for inspiration and recipes to cook in my rig. Thanks again! Happy travels.
I live in Phoenix and have been all over AZ the past 25 years. Sedona is an absolute must see, in addition to the Grand Canyon of course. Sedona's "red rock" formations are much easier to hike to than the Grand Canyon area. Depends on how adventurous you are. There are backcountry trails in both Sedona and Grand Canyon. I like the trails that surround Sedona near Cathedral Rock where Oak Creek runs by. It is gorgeous there any season, but especially in Autumn. Plus there are lots of interesting shops in Sedona and delicious food at various restaurants.
What great timing this morning Cat !! My coffee just had gotten done and I opened this spot to check for your latest video and wow had been up only 6 minutes and I was ready !!! The ruins are beautiful makes you wonder why we can't build homes that last that long anymore. The meal you made I have everything here BUT the turkey sausage bummer. Sure looks great. Great to see you so happy this morning we all need that in this day and time and you take us to a happy place every week. Take care and thanks for sharing these beautiful places. Till next time Happy Trails To You !!!
Thanks again for talking us with you. Loved the ruins driven by them but never stopped wish now we had. Your cooking always makes me hungry. The scenery is beautiful.
My late wife and I were in the Verde Valley area in May of '16. It's such a beautiful area with lots of history. This weeks vid brought back those precious memories of our time there.
Good Day Ms. Gregory. i have finally realized why i love the views in side your home. that's pretty much what it will look like when i can do what your doing. Fancy, adding a cooking segment to your fantastic adventures. I absolutely love Arizona, from Yuma, to Flagstaff. beautiful isolated in the desert. there are so many hidden towns, homes, mines, and spectacular sights. well anyway, that dinner looked fantastic. definitely making that here at home. until next week, God Bless, be safe.
Another wonderful video! I camped at the Cottonwood State Park in October, the whole Verde Valley is such a magical place. If you get a chance, go to Montezuma's Well before you leave the area, it is often overlooked when people visit Montezuma's Castle. I love visiting the ruins of the Native American People, I always have a peaceful feeling when I visit these places but there was something extremely peaceful that touched my soul at both the castle and the Well. I spent the 3 weeks following Christmas in Arizona, came home to take care of a couple of things and am headed back this week, I'll keep an eye out for your camper, I'd love to run into you. I'm so glad you are able to enjoy the warmth of the Arizona Sun this time of year. I look forward to seeing where else you visit on this trip. Lost Dutchman is one of my favorite places, I enjoyed that video as well. Safe travels!
You are not too far, I am in Phoenix, come and have a beer (or whatever you like!) at one of our local watering holes and tell tales of your adventures! Montezuma is one of my favorites, so many gems in Arizona!
GORGEOUS VIDEO 📹 LOVE THE HISTORY . AMAZING WHAT THEY HAVE ACCOMPLISHED MANY MANY MOONS AGO & LASTED SOOOOOOOO MANY YEARS ! HOPEFULLY MANY MORE YEARS 🙏 TOO ! THANK YOU 🙏 BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! ENJOYED 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS 🙏 ON YOUR ADVENTURES !
I stayed in a state campground in the Mogollon Rim, it is in the Tanto National forest. It is probably not open during winter but it was beautiful full of trees and great views down into the valley.
I have always enjoyed your videos because of the incredible photography and music, now you have added a history lesson which is great. I too say a little prayer of thanks when I am on Native peoples land, you can really feel the spirits and paying respect is appropriate. Can't wait for your next adventure.
I love the camp Verde and Cottonwood Arizona area I spent quite a bit of time there in the winter of 2017 which is the first year I went full-time. So many things to see so much history. Enjoy your travels thank you for sharing. 👍🏻❤️
Toosigoot! Ha ha now I’m going to always say that I’m sure. Some amazing places to visit this time. Thanks again Catherine. Oh, and that breakfast sandwich looked delicious. BACON!!!
You have good and positive videos. I love traveling by car. We don't have a motorhome. We travel with tents on vacation. Now I'm sick with covitis. I watch your videos with interest. Thank you. I am always interested in colorful and beautiful places of another country. We have a snowstorm outside the window, winter and large snowdrifts. Therefore, it is especially pleasant to watch your videos.
AZ Highway 87 was one of my favorite motorcycle rides (motocamping) along with Highway 89. My gosh, I use to love saying Tuzigoot as well. I even composed a limerick which I would sing as I rode my motorcycle and it seemed to make the miles fly by. Your breakfast and dinner meals 😋 looked delicious. Bacon and egg sandwiches on toasted multi-grain bread are the bomb; have to try them with spinach and cheese. I often make bow tie pasta with stir fried chicken, green onions and baby spinach topped with a creamy mushroom sauce. Bok Choi is another vegetable I love making with Ramen noodles with a couple of tablesoons of kimchi added. Simple meals like these are easy to prepare when camping in a vehicle. Great photography as usual...makes watching your videos with a great cup of coffee on Sunday morning a veritable treat. Thanks, Catherine!
" Tuzigoot " LOL, that's to good to let go. Think I'll name something Tuzigoot ! Wonder if my daughter would consider a name change , hmmm ! LOL. Thanks for the video ! Loved it.
I've been to Montezuma's castle (long ago) ....rang that bell right off. Haven't been to tagaroot (SPL) or ancient ruins (drove by)(too busy trying to see everything on a weekend jaunt and testing my driving endurance). I love the pasta coma comments (add a glass of vino, I'm there). Keep the grand scenery coming and stay safe and well.
Catherine We were in Quartzite AZ this Jan quite the place . After watching your video you showed me more places to go see next winter. Thanks for the trip.
