I was an engineer, never liked driving in my life. Came to Canada fate made me a truck driver. Its good money ( not outstanding ) in it. But you have to consider what comes along with this profession. If u dont go long haul u wont make money, city driving give you a ok kind of amount. Its physically stressful as ur body remains motionless for most of the time of the day, u gain weight and ur back and knees get screwed in the long run. Even your bowel movements gonna suffer. U have to fight with every kind of weather conditions and basically roads are always risky I dont know if someone else gonna agree with me in this, trucking screws ur social life also, u have less time for family, friends and other special occasions. This profession doesn't requires any special study and its easy to get into this thats why people choose to be a truck driver. If u have option to choose any carrer then choose it wisely. Dont get into anything just for the sake of money or for how easy it is to be into that profession without any study requirements. If u have time, resources and talent please put it in fruitful options and be smart with your future. All glitters are not gold guys.
I agree that it has a low barrier to entry, but that doesn't mean its worthless..an owner-operator making 10K a month is great money. and its not compulsory to do it long term. save some money, start a trucking company where u just manage and coordinate, or invest in something else with good returns.
to all those who don't know him and are praising him. he is "Paras Kataria" . now he has his own youtube channel "Kataria TV", i have featured his channel in my youtube channel. he is awesome and no doubt Parul is also awesome!!
This was very informative. He was very honest person. But he works 13 hours a day and going home add another 2 hours that's 15 hours in a day. He makes 1200 week that's 4800 month so let's say 53000 a year before tax. So he would make 40,000 a year. That's not very much money for that many hours.
Jisda 53000 per year naal didh ni bhrda,,,,ohda rabb rakha.....india ch mar k 24 ghante on road rende but salary 15-20 hjar ....hadd aa koi kundi lgaa k 25-30 bna lenda howe
@ranbir dhindsa. Hey brother please reply in English. It's easier to understand. Ranbir the living expenses and taxes are very high in Canada, so 40,000 after tax might look like lots of money, but also the weather is very bad 7 months of the year and can be very dangerous. Don't look at the salary always look at the cost of living what everyday the costs are. I understand India the pay is much lower, but the living and cost is much different, live here for a month and you will understand the real struggles.
@rabir dhindsa. Wow did not know that. thanks for letting me know. You should come to canada like the rest of us. Then realize what the real world looks like. If most people realized what it's like to immigrate from India they would never leave. You should ask my neighbour doctor in India been here for 4 years has a PR and works 2 jobs 80 hrs a week can barely so he can afford to live. I could give you many stories but then again I probably don't know about demands and struggle.
@@jamieparmar1680 M Tan good keh reha drivers nu.... But india & canada di driving & salary vich Zameen aasman da farak aa. India vich Change ghar da munda driving wal nu munh ni krda... Canada vich Ameer ghran de kake v driver bnna chonde.. R u driver???? For one year only, you drive truck in india....all things you will understand
Hey Parul, how r u? I hope ur doing well. I have seen ur some of the RU-vid videos. You provide an amazing information. Your just great at that but the reason to comment you is that plz upload videos in Hindi or in English, that would be better for all the audience in India as well as to the open world to understand the information you provide in a better and convenient way. Thanks & Regards Ankeet Lily
Deserving people get good jobs who study well and get top uni but some people don't want to do hard work and just have to go abroad then there is not many jobs for them
Income -= 8-900 dollars a week. Expenses: Rent for single- $120 family=$450 Phone bill(no iphone) =25 Food=$100 Transit=$50 (no car) Transit: car($120),insurance($100),gas($40),others($20). There are tonnes of other expenses that you will encounter after 3 months or yearly. So basically risking your life you will only be able to save upto 3-400/pw. And if you are married you will save like 100. House prices in brampton avg 700k to 1million. What money?
True that. The thing is this profession does not requires any degree or study and sadly that is why more people comes into it & thinks that its the easiest way to make money. If one do a proper calculation then he/she can know that its not the fruitful one. And considering the other factors apart of money its not the smartest choice of work.
