Simple "hacks" to improve your hardware. First out: getting rid of that little bit of kingpin sticking up above the hanger on the front truck.
If you've taken your riding to the edge of the ramp/pool you know this problem, it is common on most CX-style trucks. Here's how to solve it.

The most impressive thing is... Where in the heck did you find a truck with a nearly vertical kingpin that sticks out so far past the hanger?

Haha good point! I think it’s because of how the geometry on these type of surfskate-trucks creates more leverage. Also they have thicker bushings so it needs a longer kingpin than regular trucks. Anyway, thanks for watching. 🤙🏽

No, just makes the surfskate-truck easier to ride on transition and coping. The hanger is different on surfskatetruck compared to regular skatetruck. 🤙

Would you be able to get the truck tightened or loose again?

Yeah for sure. You can screw the head of the kingpin from the top with a skate-tool. The nut stays in place at the bottom.

Just Be careful. You won't see how far the nut is on the other side of the bolt. You always want the plastic thread in the nut to be all the way in.

Do you mean the kingpin? It's 65mm (2.5"). Hope this helps.
