Do these "Dev's" actually play computer games? No info on the missions, and distances in meters????? Why on Earth have distances in meters! Where is the world building? Fun? Real world related aspects? Sorry for the rant, but if it was my studio - I would have fired them. Time and again we see excrement from Indies, that have no inclination or respect for what they are producing. You don't neef to be Activision or EA just to get the basics right. The sim side looks respectable, I noted that the van driving was not Grid Autosport, but it was respectable. If the Dev's want money, respect, recognition - Please handle your development with Respect.
You do realized every developed nation and international group uses meters as distance. Just because one county hasnt caught up to the developed world doesn't mean we should make games around their shitty math.
Yeah why use our normal units of distance instead of those stupid "Murican" units which no one understands! Like why 5 foot 11 instead of 5 foot 9 and then 6 foot??
I know it's an old comment but I don't think the problem is meters, more that they are not using Kilometres. Drives me crazy when I speak to a customer and they have measured a room in inches rather than feet or cm rather than meters. If it's s large distance, the larger unit should be used.
I bought this game and after I bought it I found out it is still in early access. The devs have admitted they rushed this game due to contractual reasons from Nintendo. I am sure this game will be fleshed out. The multiplayer is where this game shines though.
I want a good truck sim on Switch so badly. This has lots of promise. The core gameplay looks great, but it definitely needs more polish with the missions and penalities. Even the Olivex sim has more detail for missions and penalities. I'll wait and see what the dev does before I drive in. It's $40 on the NA eShop which is a bit much for the content in the game now. Truck Driver from Soedesco is supposedly coming out soon as well for Switch.
Yea hoping Truck Driver is good, but I heard they are having a lot of problems with the other versions of the game, so not sure how thats going to affect the Switch release.
Looked forward to this for a long time. Does look like it needs a bit more traffic on the road and some fleshing out on the menus etc. But it looks like it performs well and has a nice selection of vehicles.
Me compré hace 2 días el juego en Nintendo e-Shop pero he observado un problema que no sé si a alguien de Uds. también os pasa u os ha pasado y saben como solucionarlo. Resulta que cuando configuro algunos vehículos (los colores...) después cuando cierro el juego (apagando la consola en Modo Espera) no aparecen como los he configurado sino que aparecen como estaban por defecto. Los he observado con algunos vehículos (no me acuerdo de si los primero que configuré siguen estando con la misma configuración o también se han puesto configurados como por defecto sin yo hacerlo).
Bought this game a few days ago and so far I quite like it. It's definitely not up there with games like ETS2/ATS on PC, but it's still quite a fun game. Not worth EUR 40 in its current state but as far as simulation goes this is probably still the best we can get on Switch. I like loading the cargo with a forklift and the crazy AI that keeps you on your toes. Game definitely needs more content updates but it's a pretty good start.
as a big fan of ETS2 and Giants Software 'Farming Simulator' series I can confirm this is a very bad release in its current form. Not many vehicles to choose from - and too easy to obtain so no real grind to be able to afford a decent tractor unit or truck. Very very bad NPC driver AI. Especially when exiting a motorway. They block up the slip road, moving in small jerky movements. Graphically sparse No real career or management mode, with hiring driver, building a company etc. Having the mast controls on the same thumb stick as left/right movement of the Fork lift is just ridiculous - impossible to steer without the mast inadvertantly going up/down. Vehicle customisation is limited to changing the colour and a few cosmetics. No engine swap or configuration change. Having to fuel up every 15-20km Possibly loads of others I have forgotten! Hope the devs come through with the promise of finishing this game and dont just take the money and run.
I am in this field in real life and this game looks great. I have and love Construction Simulator 2 so this looks right up my alley too. But at $40 is kind of pricey, will have to wait for a sale.
Thanks for the review. Could have been nice with a career mode. It's also to expansive for what it is for the moment, e.g compared to construction simulator 2 US.
Was there “weight” to the trailer? I’ve chatted with the devs the last 6 mo the or so and they plan to bring an update later in The year which will introduce a business management sim where you can hire drivers.
when I first heard that Aerosoft was making this, I got super excited. Ive knew Aerosoft from Flight simulator add-ons and I must say they have made some of the best !. im hoping they put alot into this game.
Aerosoft didn't make this game, they are the publishers. This game was made by three people from Turkey I think, ad it's only recently that Aerosoft have picked them up to publish the game
