Hello! Finally get a business trip to the west coast and start looking for you in our rental car. Imagine my surprices seeing you on our way back to the airport. I waved like crazy :-) (10:15). Thanks for all the videos! You should know I am using them as training with my son (Alexander), who is learning to drive. "What NOT to do in front of a lorry!". Very educational! @@truckdriver1982

@@tubecristar i dont know how the laws work over there but here in Australia all trucks have signs on the back that say "Do Not Overtake Turning Vehicle" nationalsafetysigns.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/T2713-do-not-overtake-turning-vehicle-sign.png my advice to your son is don't stay beside a truck in a roundabout if you come up on a truck entering or in the roundabout stay behind it till it clears the roundabout don't be like that van at 1:45 that's the easiest way to book a on way ticket to the hospital. and the same goes for farm tractors the tractor alone can be 10 tonnes or more and with the big wheels they have i can tell you first hand they will crush cars like ants. i was driving the tractor home from the mechanic shop when some idiot cut me off like 0:58 but he didn't stop and i could not stop in time ended up crushing the back of his car he was lucky he didn't stop or he would have been crushed and not the back of the car.

And my advice is to not stay alongside any trucks, buses, etc. Always assume they don't see you or are about to turn. Do not tailgate and when passing make sure you can see them in your mirrors befoe moving back into the lane. Yeah, common sense, but many lack it.

0:55 Close call! Not sure why people do this, they must Think that I am turning right...but I DONT indicate right. Someone commented in a previous video, that I am turning like that, to lure people out. But that's really NOT the case. I must take wide turns, or else the trailer will hit the guard rail, or cross over into the other lane. 1:35 My focus is 100% to the left, watching for a gap among all those cars. 2:44 When a Audi finally uses indicators...I dont see them XD 3:05 The Bus lane seems to boost peopels speed 4:05 Big car? 4:40 Audi had to brake hard...he did Before he comes into view. Volvo crosses solid line, and cant probably see anything backwards cause of my truck 6:00 Some Must Pass 7:43 Lost his Caravan...the hole towbar on the car failed. 9:55 Cool Shadow! :p 10:14 Things that makes me smile!! xD How are you? 11:15 Pikachu Cam 13:05 Upcoming StarWars Movie 14:55 Followers and nice Drivers 18:35 Relax

You know, if you could find a Pikachu sticker of the right size that could be removed without damaging your truck, I'll bet there would be no problem. For the 0:55 - I think it actually has to do with the wheel base and movement of the front. Since the wheel base is so much longer for a big truck than for a car, the front will do a lot more sideways movement during a sharp turn (such as when entering a roundabout). That may trick some drivers that you are about to turn right, because the front moves in that direction (your rear wheels may have barely turned at all at that point - but they only look at the front). Then when you turn the other direction to follow your lane in the roundabout, it looked for them like you changed your mind, because the front goes quickly from moving right to moving left. That's just a guess from my side - but seems reasonable. Again it's all about people who are not aware of the size and behaviour of big trucks, hahaha. I think the one at 3:05 was quite fun. I also use the bus lane my self sometimes to get passed slow drivers who blocks the fast lane. If there is an open lane, why not use it - bus lane or not, haha. Also - the reason there is a dedicated bus lane is so the buses don't get stuck in traffic. Driving there to get passed a traffic jam defeats the purpose of have such a lane. But now if you go fast there, that's another thing. You cant block someone who cant even keep up with you :) Buses are not much faster than your truck (the limiter usually kicks in at 97-98 km/h). That means the lane still works just fine for it's intended purpose. It must be really nice to have so many followers :) Och för den delen så är jag också från Sverige (dock Stockholmsområdet) - men skrev på Engelska här för alla andra gjorde (alla utländska följare kan ju också se vad man skriver då)

Andreas, I've said it before....it warms our hearts to see you getting the recognition from other truckers and even car/van drivers. Trucking is a thankless job most of the time, and the way you are spreading the 'word' through your videos is a great inspiration to many, I'm sure. Seeing those light flashes/hand waves is often the best part of the videos for me. keep up the good work sir!

Fun fact: Here in NZ not all truckers "flash" each other, and some 4x4s also "flash" as a courtesy to the trucker, to let them know - they ain't alone out there. Sometimes, at night in my old 4x4 van I used to "multi-flash numerous lights atop my vehicle's load bars, as a "hey keep awake & trucking my friend" - to oncoming trucks (whoever they were) Just as an acknowledgement that I was awake & I hoped they were too - to which some would simply plain flash, and others would "play" with their lights, multi flashing them as well - (to say: Hey we are both awake) - then they'd pass a short-bum 4x4 van and wonder - WTF was that?

"White car thinks he's a truck" could be force of habit, he actually drives trucks and forgets.. happened my dad who was a bus driver, he pulled in to the bus stop and the passengers just stood there in amazement... he had pulled in with his little Fiat Ritmo, he was off duty but force of habit had him pull in at the bus stop :-)

I live in Sweden, and most (older) Swedes don't seem to understand how to use roundabouts. Plus, they have bad road etiquette (they never let you out and drive quite arrogantly 😊). My dad was a long distance lorry driver, and I always have the utmost respect for them. I never pull out in front of one unless I am totally sure there's enough space!

Firstly, Happy Easter to you and Pikachu; remember, chocolate is made from a bean, a bean is a vegetable, we are encouraged to have five serves a day; therefore eat as much chocolate as you want, apparently it is good for you. Love the Pikachu cam; have a few concerns with the close call when the wee chick flew off Pikachu's shoulder, never to be seen again...... As always a fantastic vlog and love your sense of humour. So I will leave you with this; if the Easter Bunny drops wee round brown things on the ground, do not eat them, it may not be chocolate. Happy Easter and safe travels, I love your Sweden x

I've enjoyed your vlog with view above the cars and can see further up the road. These pluses you have in this vlog are excellent brake stop, dragon shadow, viewers/cameras at the back of trucks & buses, double & triple takes of your big yellow Pikachu, and such beautiful scenery at the end. Have you noticed an increase in Uneducated inconsiderate drivers? I noticed in my home state of Washington USA more drivers seem to be full of anxiety and drive carelessly. They do not drive defensively. They are not focused on driving. A significant number on their cell phone even though it’s against the law. It seems like an increasing number of people no longer respect the law or persons around them.

Det där flygplanet såg faktiskt ut som en drake haha :) sett mycket game of thrones själv :) För ungefär en månad sedan gjorde jag min bästa körning hittills, jag hjälpte en kompis köra ner honnom och 2 skotrar till Torsby i värmland, ungefär 12 timmar från där jag bor :) mycket roligt även om 95% av körningen var i mörker

Et toujours de superbes paysages, dans la grandeur des espaces, où lacs et forêts s'échappent à chaque tours de roues. Rouler chaque jour dans un tel cadre est assez réjouissant. En plus, les routes sont belles. Ce qui limite les désagréments que connaissent ceux qui empruntent des routes en mauvaise santé. Bonne route pour la suite.

12:40 "Walk of shame", but very good of them to pick up what they have lost instead of leaving it on the road. 15:05 HST is a Dutch transport company. I don't know if all their trucks and trailers are Dutch, but the trailer seems to have Dutch yellow plates and the truck has at least the company's colours. So, there you go; from the Netherlands, just like me.
