I've been in a situation like this where my brother wanted me to put his car title and insurance under my name. I have a spotless driving record and credit rating. I was not going to jeopardize either one for his past bad decisions. My family was like, we need to look out for each other. My response was, so I'm not a good brother unless I'm in the same pit as the rest. I LOVE my kids, but I wouldn't co-sign or put anything under my name. I taught them cause and effect, that you'll responsible for your own actions.
My mother cosigned a car for my 38 yr old sibling, who can't keep a car longer than 1 year. The payment is $600 a month. I am very disappointed my mother did that, but I guess I understand because my sibling is a single parent of 2 children with 1 who has special needs. She wants to help her child/grandchildren, but this will not end well
I don't understand why ppl continue to bring their "illegal dealings'" to court once they have gone awry!!!?!?! Its baffling to me!! CLEAN HANDS! YOU HAVE TO HAVE CLEAN HANDS!! LMAOOOOO
Ummm. I take each situation by situation. One of my siblings needed my credit and based off her showing me takes care of her own needs I helped her out. She paid timely, and zeroed out the bill. Flip side my other sisters, naw, that WOULDA neva had happened.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a person with so much hyper energy as the defendant I’m exhausted from just watching her and I feel bad for the plaintiff, yes he was doing an insurance scam but I believe him when he said his tools were in there, I feel like tow people would steal whatever they could out of a vehicle they impounded, my car was towed from an accident and it had stuff missing out of it when I got it back.
Regardless of tickets and insurance, she should be charged with filing a false police report. What if he got pulled over by a cop that didn't know him personally, guns drawn?, this could have ended very badly. Plus we taxpayers pay for the police, SHE lied to them and wasted their time. Not to mention it's a crime she freely admits to and then says she has no regrets in doing it. She needs to be held accountable.
I honestly do not know why i find this case so funny but i don’t know how many times I’ve watched it. The defendant was a problem but he was worse. They crack me up
I really like the defendant. She said it at the end: "This would be all over with if he had taken responsibility and paid his bills. It was a pain and a headache with him." I think that sums up the case.
She was definitely right on that one. But I also believe they're both pretty dishonest, not so bad people, but not anyone trustworthy. She breaking the law by committing insurance fraud, and filing false police reports and he's , geesh where do I even start. What a bum. Messy business
I was confused at first, but then as I kept on listening I had to understand that he was not pronouncing some of the first letters of his words...you have to have on your listening ears during this case
Okay... so as I went back and did my research it seems as though he doesn’t pronounce the letters in different areas of different words lol. Beginning middle and end
He didn't have a license, no insurance, getting new tickets, promised not to drive & only let his buddy drive the truck. This guy is an accident waiting to happen.
I think it was wrong of her to call the cops and report the truck as stolen but I can see why she did it! She knew he wasn't going to pay all of the bills that were in her name because of him, just goes to show, even when it's hard it's better to just say NO in the beginning and avoid situations like this
Tickets in DC bounce back years later, as well. I’m not a victim of it, but know plenty of people who were WITH EVIDENCE! Go figure! Keep receipts and updates for every ten years for anything this important everyone.
You'd be surprised. My husband had gotten a ticket and he paid it. Thankfully, he was with a person like me that saves all receipts that could effect our livelihoods. Next thing we know, we find out he has a warrant for that same ticket that was already paid. Had to show the receipt to get it dropped. If I'd never kept it, he would've been wrongfully arrested. I think some ppl at the courthouse actually pocketed the money and gave a fraudulent receipt. And he's not the only person that has happened to that we know of, but unfortunately, they discarded their ppw.
Making stupid choices doesn't make you a bad person. It makes you a stupid person. Driving without insurance and driving with a suspended licence doesn't become a problem until he kills someone. Would he have meant to do it. Of course not. Is he a bad guy? No. But if he kills someone or hurts someone then it becomes an issue. To drive without the proper papers is a stupid decision. Period.
The girl behind the plaintiff in the green is giving me life. She cannot hold back at all (7:32) (10:00) and (14:31). Either she's happy about something, or she didn't want share her edibles with me.
Why do people who are scammers sue the people that scam them... I'm NEVER ever doing this for anyone... Except my children but they know better... She stole my crack and can you help me get it back judge 😂😂😂😂😂
Jeaneth reminds of that lady from Sandford & Son who thought every guy was Fred Sandford! "If your not fred sandford and he's not fred sandford, then your fred sandford"
It's amazing how many people on these court shows never want to take responsibility for their irresponsibility or reckless and poor decision making. When we are out of order, our lives, and the way we think, live, and act is out of order.
Is Judge Milian seriously unable to think of ANY reason why two toolboxes with thousands of dollars of tools in them might NOT have been "logged in"?!?!?
They're pretty common with sunglass lenses around malls and glasses shops here in the U.S. im sure if you searched online for 'reading glasses' or 'sunglasses' they may pop up
If you can’t find them in India, get your prescription and send it to an overseas place, or order just the frames and then get a local optometrist to put your lenses in. Specsavers in Australia have these frames, I have a few :)
I was having a hard time understanding the defendant at first. I had to listen very closely and managed to get the gist of it. It's a good thing that I have more than 10 years studying English otherwise I would have had to look for the next people Court's video because I would have been difficult to understand.
That dude was ballsy, suing somebody who helped him commit insurance fraud they both admitted to committing multiple felonies while under oath on national TV. That's about as smart as a tweaker calling the police because their dealer ripped them off, which happened on the show COPS a couple of times.
She needs to be charged for filing a false police report. I mean, she admitted to it for the world to see. I believe that she intended to keep that truck for herself and would rather see it destroyed than to give it back to him. She was there on the audio claiming that it was a gift. You can't trust anyone
