Thanks Mate, the sad truth is that no one has a clue, we all react to what happens as it happens and try to analyse it but can’t predict an iota of what is going to unfold in the markets… content creators are like amplifiers, when times are good they affirm it and try to tell you why it’s good and that it’s looking bullish but then all of a sudden the market turns bearish and everyone affirms it again and try to analyse why… it’s so sad that many are so powerless and it's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 19Bitcoin in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Linda Wilburn, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Noticed fuel prices tanking in the last week, I just filled the tanks for 2.89 a gallon in Ohio, where 2 months ago I'd be lucky to pay less than 4.50$

I paid $2.99 gallon for fuel today in KY. I have an RTS/ Fleetone fuel card so I get fuel at discount prices. Speedway was added to the RTS program & fuel is quite a bit cheaper for me.

Diesel at one9 truck stops is $3.19 on the low and if you know you know consistency is brought on by a back and forth motion with loads not going to random places aimlessly great rates are made from one are back and forth

Hello there, I’m running Regional for an outfit in the southeast doing intermodal. Putting around 2500 to 3000 miles a week on the truck but home 3 out of 7 nights mostly sometimes 4. After fuel and fixed expenses (insurance and stuff) which is only about $105 a week , I don’t pay for dispatch, I’m netting about $1.10 to $1.15 a mile . Only other cost is upkeep/maintenance on my truck and taxes. Truck is paid off. Most of the loads are light less than 30K lbs and pulling empties as well, All drop n hook…. We only have one customer in the regional OTR division that has 40 to 44K lbs loads and I don’t do much of those , at least I try not to, lol. I’m running a 2019 KW with Cummins efficiency series engine getting 7.5 to 8.5 mpg depending on load. Should I stay or should I go ? 😉 Just wondering what other options there might be …. Thanks for your insight In advance….🙏

You have pointed out that capacity is decreasing. Three years ago, when freight was plentiful, many independent contractors broke their leases with companies and got their own authority. The spot market was good, and fuel costs were good. Since then, the spot market has died, and fuel costs have skyrocketed. The major truck operations problem today is bottom fishing brokers taking advantage of this over-capacity. The industry needs a cleansing off brokers.

Hi there! I have a question. I drive containers from my terminal in Charlotte NC to the Port of Wilmington NC daily. Recently, I have noticed that the loads going to the port have been heavier (20,000K or more) than what I am bringing back (10,000 or less!) I used to bring back 30-50K LBS a load!! Is there a website that I could research that might explain this imbalance?? Is it a good thing we are exporting more than we are importing or not?? Thanks!

If this was a meeting I was at, I don't know if a single piece of data would even sink in.

For anyone who was not trucking back in 2007-2011. This is probably the beginning of the downturn, freight will fall off the cliff as soon as the fed pivots. The only loads you will get will be booked between 6-8 am each morning. $2.00 a mile will be the very best rate. And you will not be going home, loads will go where you don't want to be. Get ready good luck. Those who owe on their equipment will sell for what they owe on it. Mega carriers will fire hundreds at a time and gobble up freight for .90 cents per mile. Like western express did in 2008. They pulled heavy copper from Arizona to Connecticut. You will only make $5000 per month bring home.
