All I hear from all these mega fleet drivers is more home time, more home time, more home time..news flash bros and gals we're truck drivers meaning you will be gone..I've got my weekends off now with this new small otr company I'm with but when I use to run for Melton (flatbed) and Schneider (tanker) I was always gone and never home 2 months at a time or more to get enough experience so I could go with a smaller company that's close knit and pays well..its truck driving not a regular 9-5..ya gotta stop trying to make trucking a normal job..it doesn't take special people to do a normal job..remember that

Our goal is to get goods and services from shipper to receiver and if that means making sure that preloaded or even empty trailer is road ready that's what we do. Sure some drivers leave it for the next guy... But if it's you, you get it fixed and move out. It's just part of the life. Paying it forward has it's rewards.

I like this the way that the drive said how the repair was working with him to get the issue resolved at the end of the day the customer needs the product you are delivering the customer is what drives how hard these guys work to get it there!

I can't tell you how much I'm ready to started CDL-training, possibly at Knight Transportation. I am waiting for my county's DMV to reopen to take my permit test. DOT test is partially complete as well. Let's get this money!
