Great video bandit you should b at a training center teaching the younger generation how to do it right your a great driver and doing it the right way cause new generation need the help 😊
I appreciate that. Would definitely love to help anyone out but these new drivers think they know the best and unfortunately don’t always want to listen.
Hey bandit, just to say hello and let you know that your videos are a trip down memory lane for me, you have an awsome truck and pulling that reefer makes look even better. Keep on learning it will get better, knowledge is power. God bless you and keep safe.
Hey Bandit! I’ve missed you! Glad you’re back! Great video, great camera angles. I love it when you take the two lane roads and go through the small towns. I hope you get the Beast fixed. Thank you for doing what you do for us! Have a good night Bandit and stay safe!😊
hi the rains are all over also here in my country it's a mess but thanks heaven we are safe also you be safe and continue with that good job I do appreciate all you feed back thanks again
Glad youre ok, with all those tornados out thst way. Sorry about the roads in Indiana. In my area in northern Indiana we have several roads closed for new bridges . Glad you clarified that its Indiana roads that you dont like not the people. Becareful out there with all the storms.
People of Indiana have always been good to me. Especially in smaller towns. I only have problem with Indiana roads because they are pretty bad as you may know.
Good video Bandit, There a spot under constant repair from Missouri I-55 and jumping to Memphis, TN and it's down to 1 lane and concrete barriers so close you feel like a your going to hit and grind your rims on the sides of the barriers and turns some quickly turnoffs too with potholes of he11. I thought one time I bounced so dam hard I thought I was going to have my nose of my truck posted up on top the barriers, if I didn't have my seatbelt on I would be in the sleeper floor pretending to be a backseat driver. I call the place Memphis mud heads. The city can't fix nothing right of the roads in that city of Memphis. That potholes ended up bending my top tracking / torque bar on my back differential / rearend. Had to get replaced, mechanic asked what happen here, Memphis mud heads potholes of he11. Wait until you go to pilgrim's pride by Sulpher Springs, TX It's a kill plant for chickens, and I was picking up there and chicken poop right down the middle entrance road. And then wait to get loaded and then starts raining and you have to reconnect to trailer. Yep some spots ask for disconnects from trailer and park beside your trailer as your truck sticks to far out in main road. And now raining and chicken poop wipe off shoes and then start spraying poop all over your truck and trailer driving. Smell chicken poop so you go down the road and find a streakin beacon to wash the truck and trailer. And you put clothes in a trash bag to wash later. Finally get your smell back in your nose day later.
I drove through Ohio yesterday around Zanesville and they have some scary construction going on. Only few inches to spare on each side of the truck before you hit the wall. Wall on one side is probably 5 feet high. Very nerve wracking. They have a turkey kill plant right there in Milan where I picked this load up. I don’t want to go there because they make you drop your trailer and leave the property. And it takes forever to load from what I’ve heard.
Hey Bandit great videos and very entertaining liked your video on the Reefer roof repair well done! keep on trucking mate! all the best! 🚚🚚🚚🚚🚚🚚🚚👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Hey Buddy, Pprrrtttt, Missed ya, glad your back with the blue glider.. Thanx for the ride along to Columbus with the stinky turkey, lol.. As you were getting loaded with the load & talking about what the alignment problems have been, I said to myself, as you were talking, and believe, its the front steers, even with you swapping right front steer with left front steer, getting the opposite response's, hopefully you will have it fixed and not have any more problems. Bro, take care, will be looking forward to the next trip, sorry you lost the memory card. Keep R between the mayo & mustard.
I’m finally back my friend. Been sitting at the house for about 10 days now. I had three videos recorded after that South Carolina run, but I lost my SD card and all the footage on it unfortunately. Those would’ve been great videos. I think I am going to put brand new steer tires here in the next week or two. Hopefully that fixes my issue.
It’s good to be back my friend. I’ve been sitting home for about 10 days so I wasn’t able to record anything and on top of that, I lost my memory card with three videos on there so it took me a minute to get a video out.
Hey, I sent u my tire type, the Bridgestone R213, I'm parked now on my10. Their pretty high on price, most class 8 trucks run the standard G rated tire. These r 70mph rated tires, yes truck tires have a speed rating. I run the H rated steer tires(75 mph rated), the W900L is heavy, plus with H rated u can run 13,000 on the steers versus 12k. allows me to shift drive weight forward to steers if needed. G rated tires r 14 ply, H rated r 16ply. Give u some better understanding!!. My drives r the standard G rated, the H rated gives me some leeway on front, plus good durability. Be good Ron
I appreciate that buddy. Those were the exact same tires that the lady quoted me last Friday. I think I’m going to put those on. Definitely need them for those heavy loads.
You are always welcome to post a comment my friend. I will definitely always respond back. I have been very busy lately but i always find time during the day to respond to comments and talk to people.
Good evening OTR BANDIT,just watched the last video of you showing off the BLUE BEAST.Its been a while since you've put one out for us Subscribers thought something happened to you just glad to see you back behind the wheel of the BLUE BEAST be careful and stay safe.here in Oklahoma we have been dealing with tornadoes.
I’m very sorry to hear what happened to you guys down there. Hopefully you and everyone is ok. I was home busy working on my truck. I had 3 videos recorded but unfortunately i lost my SD card and that also put me behind on these videos. But I’m back up and running again and videos should be coming.
🤣🤣 I usually read the reviews before I go into the place and I have made up my mind if I hate it or not way before I get there. I definitely hate that place. Especially the smell. Thank you very much for watching all the way from Canada, my friend. You stay safe out there. 🙏🏼
Hey bud!, Yea Indiana Troopers have it bad grudge for truck drivers! Especially for us the canadian ones. I stopped going that way cause of them pulling me over for stupid stuff. Once a guy I worked with got called in at the chicken coup, and calls him in and the officer says "Yea you canadians sure love to say your sorry and thank you but here in Indiana we do thing differently" then my buddy goes "Well maybe if you drank some of our maple syrup, you'd learn to be sweeter too". The officer gave him a Level 1 after that 😂
Indiana definitely sucks when it comes to DOT and bad roads. They should really work on that. Luckily I’m able to avoid all of those stupid scales they have.
Going through the small residential area's they don't allow engine breaks. I'm retired now but why am I compelled to watch your videos? Probably because your a true truck driver and I was a Freight Hauler. But you cuss less than I did when I was driving
Small towns do have noise ordinance in place. I try to avoid turning my engine brake because I don’t want to disturb people. Sometimes I forget and turn it on unfortunately.
I don’t know if I would like driving there to be honest with you. Seems like a hassle every time you go from country to country. I’ve seen some guys on TikTok wait for days at the border. I don’t know if I could do that honestly.
You must be getting close to the alignment issue. Maybe recheck U bolts on front axle and recheck king pins, steering box bolts tight? Just suggestions , hope you nail it. 🇦🇺
Alignment seems pretty good on it right now. But I am starting to think that it is because of this trailer that I have. The truck seems very unstable on the road for some reason. I will hook up to my buddies trailer this weekend. Drive it around and see how it is. Also hook up to my trailer with his truck and see how it does..
Get those metal reinforced wind shield wipers. One of mine blew off in Ohio. Don't want to get your windshield scratched up. I had to chose between scratches or getting safely to the truck stop.
So far these have not flown off just yet. I’ve been in some pretty high winds for the past couple weeks. But I’ll definitely have to look into that. Better safe than sorry. It would suck if one of them flew off when it’s pouring rain.
They worked on that interchange for a long time in Indianapolis. Should have spent some of that money on other parts of the state. but I guess government knows the best.
Greenup Illinois, US-130 and I-70, that’s was my favorite Route US #130 to run North & South from I-64 Grayville Illinois up through Greenup to US-36 to I-57!!
@@OTRBandit Oh Absolutely 👍, I used to take #130 to US# 36 and run into Indianapolis rather than I-70, then I would take I-465 to US-40 E, into Richmond Indiana to Hills Pet, 24hr Drop & Hook, I love ❤️ the cute little towns I’d go through and especially the beautiful Store Fronts , but of course I was a Night Runner, I very seldom ran during the daytime pass 11:00 🕚 Am. I loved it, when I pulled into the Truckstop it was EMPTY, I would always get a good parking spot, then at night when they all returned, I’d take off and run all night again!
@@OTRBandit You got it, how these today driver’s drive in the daytime all the time I don’t get it, I would go insane. I would also takeoff for that 72 HOUR NATIONWIDE DOT INSPECTION, I think it’s starts next month May 14--May 16, I don’t drive anymore but I did notice they started doing more Road Checks in the last 6 years because they knew lots of drivers were taking off. 😂. Happy Trails
@@OTRBandit OH, BTW, if those Road Checks fell during a 5 payday Month, I would Run, I never took off during a 5 payday month! Willie Nelson turns 91 today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂🎈🎉 WILLIE!!
They really need to do something. Today I was driving through Ohio and I saw six cars with flat tires for some reason. All in the same spot. I don’t know if it’s the road or something else.
Greetings from Los Angeles I decided to write you after watch all your videos. Thank you for sharing your experiences, knowledges. May Allah bless and protect you from any bad things 🙏 By the way. Are you Serbian? Wish you have a safe drive Buddy
I’ve never had good luck with these tires. The only reason I put them on is because this was the only thing available at the time.. I think I will be putting Bridgestone on here pretty soon.
@@OTRBandit did a little bit of googling and the Michelin Xline Energy - XLEX + is rated best steer tire : sure you probably know about them , just a suggestions buddy ☮️
@@frederickdemers-zu2dj I did hear about them, but I never ran those on any of my trucks before. I will definitely have to look into it and see what’s the price difference between them and Bridgestone.
@@frederickdemers-zu2djGotta pay to play. Steer tires are the most important safety tool on a semi truck, in my opinion. One of them bad boys blows up while you’re doing 70 miles an hour down the road, you are a goner.
Good RUN BANDIT COPY YOUR FRONT END ALLIGNMENT BILL SEND IT TO THE MAYOR OF THE COUNTY SWEET HAVING A LIFTRUCK GUY DO THE JOB RITE 30MIN HES GOOD ONE STAY SAFE BRO. KEEP BLUEROLLIN
I did not hear you mention anything but as a side note for your viewers, Indiana is imposing a 10 thousand dollar fine for overweight even on the tandems, make sure you scale all your loads going through if they still are doing that, I still get a huge red warning in my iPad in the truck if I am traveling through for that.
@@OTRBandit it’s not something they broadcasted (go figure) I guess they want it to be a surprise. I’d like to see all of us stop going into places like this when they do this crap, things keep going the way they are I think all of it is coming to a full stop.
I got a miserable surprise one day I need to go off I-5 in Oregon to get a Nersery load got to the turn to go over to the Nersery & on come the Red lights got pulled over Smoky gave me a ticket 🎟 told me I needed a permit to drive on any side road when your over 30 feet long he followed me over to the Nersery & I had to bobtail to the Chicken coupe to buy a permit for being over length off the Big Road
@@DeanHenry51752 he’s a freaking scumbag. He knew there was a nursery there and that the trucks come in and out to pick up the loads.. that’s why he was sitting there just waiting for somebody to steal their money.
Just a thought from my experience,, I’m wondering if your trailer is out of alignment? That can cause issues with your steer tires… and can also eat up your drive tires too… especially if it’s off tracking to the right… Missouri state route 5 lol love that road lol Good old Illinois and Indiana roads keep you awake from slapping you silly hahaha
I did notice it allot more since I got this trailer. Guess it’s time for trailer alignment. I’ve been wanting to do one and should have done one on it when I did my truck last week. These roads will definitely keep you awake and alert. Thank God I drove through here during the day and I was able to see and avoid most of the big potholes.
@@OTRBandit ahh yes time to have it aligned & spend some more money lol … air ride suspension is nice for trailers but they wear out faster than a stiff metal spring riding trailer tho… especially from the winter time use… Naw! More fun at night dodging potholes hahahaha!! Or be like everyone else with 8 million watts of lights blinding everyone! Hahahaha
Seems to me that oo always want to race with big freight haulers. At least your truck has more length than a single axel and those Indiana potholes suck worse than that 389 Pete
Hey Bandit Brother, How are your deadhead miles. Sometimes I would end up 300 miles to get to a load. Just wondering. Also do you have a goto broker or a favorite? Have a great day. Roll on!
I do not have my go to broker. I hate all of them the same. I used to have some guys that I worked with all the time and they were great, but you can’t find people like that anymore. I don’t like deadhead too much but sometimes you have no choice. I did deadhead a few times from Florida all the way to Tennessee, sometimes even Kentucky. But that does not happen very often. I try to keep my deadhead below 200 miles but if I have to, I will go further. I guess it all depends on the area we find ourselves in.
I use DAT load board app. But I also use other apps that brokers provide. Those apps are usually free, but DAT is not.. I would definitely recommend you do start your own thing. if you are going to be driving out here for somebody else and spending all this time on the road, might as well work for yourself and get the most money you can. Let me know if you need any more help buddy or any other kind of information regarding starting your own company.
Everything’s been checked and everybody is saying that everything is good and tight, but something still does not feel right to me. I still have couple other things to look into whenever I get back home., I’m gonna replace my entire steering shaft and possibly even my gearbox.
Hey dude, do the tandems slide automatically when you release them or do you have to slide them manually by setting the trailer brakes and moving the truck??
It is done manually with your trailers break set and you just move your truck back-and-forth until you adjust your trailer tandems to where you want them to be. But first you need to go outside and pull on that button that I always pull so that it can pull the slider pins inside so you can move your tandems back-and-forth.
Hello bandit how r u doing today I'm doing pretty good just getting nervous 4 Thursday morning the surgery date please be careful and safe my friend have a good night

Had to back the video up from original post I missed so much in between honey dos now she is frying Talapia and I am in watching your amazing driving skills like you are driving a Cadillac sir😊
This is actually a 13 speed transmission. This one shifts the same as 18 speed from what I’ve heard. I’ve never driven a truck with 18 speed unfortunately. But I will make a video on how to shift this transmission for.
@@DeanHenry51752 I’ve driven 10 , super 10 and 13 speed. 13 speed is my favorite out of all of those because he has that splitter on that splitter on a side.

This stuff smells terrible. I will definitely not feed my dog this stuff. This morning whenever I opened my trailer, I wanted to throw up how bad it smelled.
@@OTRBandit you going have to wash your trailer out and disinfect it when you get home and have time. Just the thought makes m🤢🤮 I feel bad for you 😞 that smell.
@OTRBandit you know Bandit, you take good care of your Blue Beast 💙, that's an awesome truck and the engine gives me a happy smile and the J brake is the sound that gives me a happy grin. It reminds me of when I used to race. At one point a 🏁 race I was in, we went into a long tunnel before hitting sharp S turns etc. The sound of your Blue Beast 💙 brings back memories. I started as a nav for the driver and eventually ended up being a female driver and having a nav. Lol, still a nav at heart, calling leftside open, make sharp right 😆 🤣. Once I got into motorsports, it never leaves.
