It's been 1.5 years since I took the safty class. I must have a cool dispatcher. Then again I'm out of Salt Lake which is a thousand times more relaxed than the hell hole Springfield.

simlab was awesome, david was a great instructor only thing i didint like was how its 2D and took abit more effort to get use to backing on it

I wonder if the people at night load up ETS2 or ATS on those when everyone else has left 🤔 If I had stupid money I would have a set up like that for those

Same software as my canadian driver's license optional training, guess the difference is the vehicle selected to simulate controls

Did anyone question why the "student upgrading" is holding the inside steering wheel and not the a actual 10& 2 hand position?

Bags great video. I am torn between two trucking schools, they basically are the same except one has simulators and the other doesn’t. I see the value in creating emergency situations on the simulator. Do you think if you get the same amount of on the road training hours behind the wheel from both schools which would be better?

I see one problem with the simulator the snow doesn't get on the windshield or another truck passing

Who programmed that rain and snow!? It should stick to the windshield when wipers switched off, and not suddenly fall slow when the car brakes. Foerst (the German inventor of the electronic driving simulator) could do awesome realistic weather effects already in mid of 1980th.

I took this years ago when I worked for Interstate. I hated it. The screen was too close for my glasses and too far to see clearly without them. I did OK, but everything was fuzzy.

You probably heard this before from an old drivers but you never put your thumb inword when holding the steering wheel. Keep your thumbs outward on the steering wheel. Reason if you blow out a tire the force can turn your wheel and break your thumbs.

That is realistic and intense.

No wind, storms, tx drop off bridges, pot holes???

So the first thing I hear when I clicked "play" (on my computer) is... Cop Car Sirens? But then. .. a few mins later I hear sirens again!? Wait, is this driver out-running the cops all the time -errrrr what? Evade & Elude School - Cool stuff tho... seriously

10 speed....13 speed? No shifting? Seems unrealistic to me.

Is the simulator a test for experienced drivers that if you fail you get sent home?
